Omaha (NE) Poker Update

Well, I finally dragged my sorry butt over there, because allegedly there was a 10/20 LHE game that runs on Wednesday night. I was pleasantly surprised to find that is indeed the case. Even more surprising, was to see that they had nixed the $100 buyin 1/2 NL game, and had changed it to a $100-$300 buyin 2/5 NL game. Finally a game worth going there for.

More of an FYI post than anything, for those of you that are in the midwest.

Are you talking about Harrahs across the river, or a game actually in Omaha? If Harrahs, what type of wait was there for the 10/20 game? Thanks.

Re: Omaha (NE) Poker Update

I'm talking about the Harrahs Council Bluffs. Thats still the only poker room available.

The 10/20 game usually has only a small waiting list, because that's above what alot of the 5/10 regulars play. We had a list until about 8 PM, and from there on there was no list, and the game broke around 10:30.

It was very rocky when I was there. No real live spots, although I know two live ones regularly attend. The 2/5 NL however was a fricken aquarium.

I need to edit my post. I was at the boat on Friday and was told that there will be 20 tables. Daily tournaments and will be hosting a WSOP Circuit event in March 2007, yes 07 not 06.

Unless I am with certain friends who want to play 10-20, the only game I will play up there is the 2-5 nl. I played from about 11am till 2pm. I was also up there on Monday from 11am till 6:45pm.
I'm the guy wearing the black stocking hat at the table.
Did we sit at the same table?
