Wild call with J7o. ( screw ICM)

This was on a 55

Trny:18459162 Level:5
Blinds(75/150)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to D_Maybe [ J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ]
Seat 5: robcepin ( $715 )folds
Seat 6: dbrennan ( $1080 )folds
Seat 9: jeffgray ( $2300 )folds
Seat 10: legoman33 ( $4285 )folds

lizard29 is all-In [790]
D_Maybe is all-In [605]

My case is the following
Lizard is pushing any 2 or at least top 70%, he has been pushing before.
Im getting 3 to 2 for my money.
All the table, except,Lizard is very tight.

If I dont call here Lizard will keep exposing me to more and more -EV desitions. If I call and succeed a bunch of +ev situations arrive since I will be doing some serious pwning to the tightweakies on my right. So to sum it all up : Im doing a -ev desition on the short run to create the possibility of +ev spots later on.

Anyway, am I a huge idiot?

Jesus man, if you are going to bump at least answer my question so that its possible to respond with some degree of accuracy. This thread should be locked for such behavior.

Stack sizes are listed, you just have to take 3 seconds to find them....

UTG: 715
UTG+1: 1080
CO: 2300
BUTTON: 4285
SB/VILLIAN: 790
BB/HERO: 605

To the OP -- I don't really like the call. I think I would rather push any two from the SB next hand.

Re: Wild call with J7o. ( screw ICM)

guess what, those arent the right stack sizes because they don't add up to 10k. Probably the SB has 75 more and the BB 150 more, but whatever thats too confusing. Obviously the OP should have posted them in a normal format since even you "with your 3 seconds of finding them" are basing your decision based on incorrect information.

I asked the question for a reason, not because I can't read.

Re: Wild call with J7o. ( screw ICM)

btw it makes a big difference too. With 605 left before posting the BB, I think you must call the allin, and that its not even close. With 605 AFTER posting its much closer (I would still lean towards calling, especially against an aggressive opponent who could often have a hand worse than jack high).

In any case this isn't stuff I or anyone else reading this hand, should have to figure out on their own. The OP should list the accurate stack sizes in a regular HH format.

Re: Wild call with J7o. ( screw ICM)

Folding is probably correct in the OP. It's only right to call if they are pushing about 75%+. Its up to you whether you think that's the case, I know it would be for some opponents.
