\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/14) (25/50 NL)

Since Yosh Nakano's not at the Bike tonight, the usual "Whale Game" is not in effect, but it will be 25/50 NL with the usual 5k max buyin. Ed, Avo, Vic Park, and Mo are at the table at the moment (plenty of good seats still available). Tuch may make an appearance as well to redeem himself from the way he was playing last night. Tuch was playing a bit like a donk, but at least he had fun doing it, sort of like Ed does most every night he plays. To watch the action, or to drive down to the Bike yourself, head to www.liveatthebike.com from 6-9pm PT tonight.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/14) (25/50 NL)

Last night was a blast--and Tuch verbally made it perfectly clear he was there to have fun and was not worried about playing his "A" game.

I would never make the assumption that last night is representitive of Tuch's skill level or playing style.

SP mike,

great playing with you last night, not bad for a limit specialist.

eitherway, too bad we couldn't chat more, my side of the table was pretty rowdy and there were a lot of laughs goin on.

hopefully we can get in the same game again.

I've given up on my "win the WSOP and become famous and everyone on 2+2 knows me" and I'd rather not have my full name out there anymore. Only took Mat about 2 weeks to approve too.

Does Ed toke $10 a hand all of the time in this game?

Thank Geoff--you kicked ass last night. I know I took some heat for letting Barry off the hook and checking down the AK hand, but Barry did do a lot for us so it was my way of saying thanks.

Our side of the table was more mellow, but we had fun together. Chester is one hell of a cool guy and has an awesome sense of humor. He had me laughing all night.

Lets hope we can do this frequently

Yosh Nakano finished 80th, and L@TB fave Kenna James finished 69th each getting just over 24k at the Five Diamond WPT event at the Bellagio.

Yeah, it fell due to a long run of rags last night for about 3 hours before the show. I accidentally sat at the Party table that has 8 deuces and 8 treys in the deck.

I call it "deal this guy a deuce or a trey every hand for 3 hours". Somehow I still finished even.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/14) (25/50 NL)

Nothing worse than flopping a set and the turn brings 4 to a straight. Cannot even imagine have Ed in the pot with me. Well done Dave.

chucksim 12-14-2005 10:26 PM

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/14) (25/50 NL)

Too bad for Tuch. Ed's called a couple hands now. Calling Dave's flopped set, and when someone filled up on the turn a few hands before, Ed's quote was "You liked that 8, huh?" after the guy checked. Has he been reading Caro?

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (12/14) (25/50 NL)

Why does the Bike put up with friends soft-playing each other? It can amount to cheating. I sure don't like it when I get raised out of the pot and then two people check it down. The Bike people should make it known that people are not supposed to do that.

Ed can do whatever he wants because he sleeps on piles of $100 bills and isn't very good at poker and likes to play a lot. Anyone else (like Sin Jin and his butt buddies) should be kicked out.

Chester is very quick witted and was throwing out one liners that would make any comedian take notice. Make no mistake regarding his poker skill either--he had an excellent read on the table and played a very soild game.

he was very solid for the first 90 minutes or so (aka he didn't play one hand), I was wondering if he wasn't used to the game (maybe limit or structure) but obviously he was feeling it out. He won that 1K pot with his 8d9d and all of the sudden I look down there and he had 3 racks in front of him.

If I remember correctly, I really didn't get into a hand with you SP or chester...

for some reason it looked I was playing really tight last night but I just didn't even find hands to mix it up with.

It was either AA/KK or 92os...I rarely saw a hand like 6d7d or KJos in position, but I muck those hands in EP.

Like I said, Avo is [censored] terrible.

First for calling Mo's all in with the OESD

Second, betting into a dry pot with just a weak pair.
