I would fold. I can't imagine a range of hands you are beating. The worst I think he could have is some strong draw like 65 or 5x of hears.

Don't you think you are giving him too much credit? I was thinking he could be doing that with a lot of hands... But you are probably right that the smart move is to let it go.

What hands could he be doing this with in your opinion? I guess he could have like A6 or 55.

Results (for entertainment purposes only).

Well, he triggered my 'this-is-a-donk-he-has-nothing-KILL' instincts, and I called. Good thing I did, or I wouldn't have experienced this, my best suckout ever!

WOW!...That's a fun one. Great work. Yeah just because someone does something donkish doesn't mean they don't have a real hand. His bet here should have killed all his action.

Overcards? Any two hearts? Gut shot draws? It's tough to tell, since there really isn't any good reason for anyone to make that bet. However, I agree with you that it is probably an easy fold.

No you shouldn't call, and got very lucky here as I'm sure you know.

Re: Results (for entertainment purposes only).

I think his all-in was a great bet! Think of his expected value. Let's say he checks and induces a bet. Then he checks and you check until the river. Maybe he bets on the river, but likely overcards came at this point and you will fold. So, he gained what, an extra 60 chips from your induced bluff? What if 10% of the time someone thinks his extreme overbet is "donk-like" and calls with top pair? That is +140 on average right? I forget what you both had, 1400 or something? So, his EV is way higher with this great move...
