i probably fold pf, and on the river. it looks like a he missed a value bet somewhere and is trying to make up for it to me. in my experience huge overbets tend to mean huge hands...

I fold preflop. Not enough implied odds, and crappy position. You are going to lose a lot of money playing this hand postflop.

The river doesn't look like a flush draw at all to me. Players at this level usually have a very strong hand when they overbet like this unless they are a noted donkey. Why wouldn't he just risk 7 and have similar FE with much less risk? I expect to see 4x a large portion of the time.

No reason to call this. He has to be bluffing here VERY frequently for that call to be correct.

Yeah, I don't call. The pot is $7. Why risk $30 for that. If its a bluff, so be it. He'll do it agian, when you've got a 4 for trips. As I see it, he's got a full house here or maybe 444. Fold

ok - i guess a pf fold is in order... he ended up having 5 6 to make a straight at the end

Do I call $30 into a $7 pot when the only action on previous streets is a 2/3 pot-sized bet and a call? No, I'm folding every time.

I don't call. If Villain doesn't have a 4 then God bless him.
