2002 WSOP final table
 

Settling down to sleep after a long night of many substances, I turned on ESPN Classic and started watching the final table of the 02 World Series. At one point Phil Hellmuth makes the following comment "If Varkonyi wins, I'll shave my head on camera."
Unfortunately I passed out 2 minutes before the final hand. Did Phil actually shave his head? This has been kinda buggin me...

The same thing happened to me.However, I do know he definitely folloewed through and let them shave his head.

Varkonyi didn't want to take part in it. But Phil, being the attention whore he is, insisted so as to get some exposure for himself.

he always needs to get the attention..just like you always see him come up to the featured tables and talk to the players to get on tv
