Commerce 40, when is it good?

I've been playing in the Commerce 40 game the last few days, and it seems a lot worse than it was just a couple of months ago. When I played in July, there were usually 2-4 superfish who would repeatedly buy in for $400 or so at the table, and even quite a few 6-7 way pots. My theory was the games were especially good because the WSOP main event was going on, and all the decent players were there.

This week, the superfish all seem to be gone. There are quite a few mediocre players, sure, but no one I would classify as a superfish. I have played at about five different tables, and this has been the same at all of them.

Where did they all go? Maybe I just need better table selection... Are there certain days that are better than others? Has the game been drying up some, or is this just a fluctuation, I have noticed that the game varies a lot in toughness based on the dozen or so times I played it.
