I can say that I've never had a problem with him doing his job well. I think he really didn't mean for it to be insulting either,

[/ QUOTE ]

i alwyas thought he was a competent dealer, but refusing a tip is abusrd. i will give him orange chips now out of spite. but i'm that way.

[/ QUOTE ]

He is a competent dealer, but strikes me as grumpy and humorless. I'm always a bit dissapointed when he deals to my table.

[/ QUOTE ]

well, he clearly has issues. he shaves his arms for crying out loud.

Is he the one who wears those glasses at the table too? The ones that are kinda those totally useless semi-transparent sunglasses? I think I know who you're talking about too.

Tip $1 every other pot. What's the problem?

[/ QUOTE ]

that's what he did.

[/ QUOTE ]
Your friend is lame.

[/ QUOTE ]

well, he is Jewish.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did he explain that to the dealer?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL!! Actually I did! And, I told him I'd just get him every other pot.

BTW...the orange chips only come out for the small pots. In fact, I think I gave him $3 a few hands earlier.

I know all about overhead. And I wasn't complaining, just making a point which a lot of non-pros don't consider. But...

No dealers no poker rooms, you'd be out of a job.

You've got it backwards. No PLAYERS no poker rooms and DEALERS are the ones without a job. This would be nothing more than a minor inconvenience to me.

I think your friend is cheap, but this is not a cardinal sin.

The dealer acted inappropriately. In effect, he complained that the tip was "not good enough." Dealers are not supposed to do this.

Who was the dealer?

[/ QUOTE ]

i think his name is Mike. He looks like a musclehead body builder guy. i think he shaves his arms.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was gonna ask if it was Mike. He has refused to take a pumpkin tip from one of my friends as well. Hes a douche.
