50+4 NL Multi Pokerroom

Pokerroom multi, 50+4 buy in. Blinds 100-200, about 15 minutes after first break. This hand comes up -

MP (1490)

CO (400)

SB, Hero with AQo (3000)

MP bets 635 (strange bet)

CO quickly calls for his last 400

Hero - ? (no reads)

Is this not a standard push?

A raise and a call. Let this hand go....

Call then push any flop. May very well get MP to fold hands better than your own (small pocket, AK, flopped 2nd pair, etc). Then you can get head-up with the shortie for the main pot (who likely has a hand worse than yours).

It's A-Qo, even if u do have the best hand it's not a risk I like to take. A raise like 635 obviously means he doens't have a hand that has you crushed, but if you re-raise all in I cannot imagine him folding. I'd rather not depend on a decent flop texture to rely on a stop-n-go.
