New Years OOPS!!

Well Ive had plans to go to see my buddys band on New Years. If you have read my quitting smoking post, then you know how bad an idea it is to go to a bar....on new years eve....in a pro-smoking town. My wife is dissapointed but understands....I still think she's pissed. What plans can I make now to make it up to her??? I know I probably dont have to feel guilty, but I do, and I want her to enjoy her new years eve.

two things:

1) this didn't need to be a new thread, should have posted in the old one...

2) exercise some self-control. Oh, and buy some decent patches dude.

If you cant do things you normally enjoy doing, you are destined to fail. You need to go out, and learn how not to smoke.

1. Who cares?...and why?
2. I think I have done a pretty good job of that if you've read the other post.

...Anything related to my question?

3 days after....Everyone and their mother is saying the direct opposite....the first few days are the easiest to fail and to stay away from situations that you associate with smoking. Man I thought I'd get a decent idea of something to do.....OK lets pretend I dont want to go out because of any other reason besides my previous post....ANY IDEAS???

Most of our friends are going to be there. It was her idea to not go becasue she really wants to see me succeed in this. I just want to do something nice for her since she's been at least somewhat supportive.

Go see a movie she wants to see that you normally would prefer to avoid.

or

Cook a good meal.

I could do both...good idea,...this thread can die now.

Thanks....and yes my will power is that low, and I doubt anyone that posted negative comments or "just do it" comments obviously don't understand.
