76s blind defense

Villain is at like 60/15 after about 20 hands fwiw.

Re: 76s blind defense

I fold the flop - insufficient odds to draw to 4-outer, not closing the action.

I'd probably donk the turn. I want to c/r, but when villain fires again into 2 players on the turn he is more likely to have us beat, since he'll often check behind weaker hands. We wouldn't want a check-through on such a drawy board and there's no indication that either player has a better hand than ours now.

i think i try a c/r here, as IMO he's firing again with just about anything hoping you just peeled on the flop.

You may be right about a flop fold, but I'm giving myself 4 outs to the straight, 1.5 to the backdoor flush, and maybe 2 outs to a pair.

Hero has plenty enough to call the flop. If he turns a 5 he need only collect 2BB. Any spade gives him a flush draw and a 9 or T gives him an 8 out straight draw. The villian's looseness means he likely to get payed off. The fact that he's not closing the action is somewhat mitigated by the better odds he receives if UTG calls.

He's giving partial outs, b/c villian could have a bigger pair already (AK AA, etc), so they are not worth full outs b/c they won't necessarily win.
