Upcoming poker movie directed by Curtis Hanson (LA Confidential) starring Eric Bana, Robert Duvall and Drew Barrymore.

Slated for an April release, so a trailer should be around the corner. If were lucky this will be good, both for entertainment value and so it can be popular enough to create a flood of new players online with IDs and avatars from the movie.

Looks like they are really loading this one up with pros.

I really that they pick cool pros. Got to go with Doyle,Mike,Harman and Farha.. It would be a big let down if it was Moneymaker, Raymer and DN.

why is sam farha in this movie?
he's probably the biggest dick in poker...and he's not even part of the elite.
i don't see ivey or barry g's either...but they did pretty well with what they have.

Remember, many people got into poker the year Moneymaker won. So, in many eyes, Sam is the guy who was almost Moneymaker.

And he has that cigarette hanging off his lip. Ratings ahoy.
