What it actually is is an easy raise on the flop or the turn.

question, is that grammar correct?

"It is actually an easy raise on the turn"

Re: KJs is this a easy lay?

You really need to raise the flop to find out where you're at. Min raise may accomplish the job, but I would make it $5-6 to go and see what villian does. If he calls and then checks the turn, I'll bet $5-6 again (about half the pot) and he'll mostly lay it down. If he comes way over the top then I can easily let it go. If he call and leads the turn then we have a more complicated situation. Any way you look at it though, a flop raise is absolutely imperative to build your pot and get some info.
