Vegas 12/2 - 12/4 Question
 

Howdy all,

Myself and some friends will be in Vegas this weekend, Friday morning through Sunday night. We're going to play a lot of poker at the Monte Carlo, and I'm also going to see about how juicy the 5/10 game at the Aladdin is.

Anyways, we made hotel reservations a long time ago, but for grins I was checking out rates for this weekend at various hotels. Rates are sky high and a lot of places are completely sold. Is there something big going on in town this weekend? A big fight? I heard something about a cowboy convention or something in early December, is this why Vegas appears to be so busy this weekend? Hopefully this translates into even tastier tables....

If you see a group of four guys boozing it up at the Monte Carlo (the most easily identifiable one of us will be a tall Norwegian dude) say sup bro!

I know there's some sort of hoe-down thing happening downtown this weekend. Don't know if it's part of a larger cowboy gathering in town or what...

NFR is in town December 2-11. Lots of cowboys & cowgirls.


As far as the Aladdin 5-10......

I've stopped by a few times recently and it was not going. It always goes on Tuesdays though (starts around 7:00 pm).
You might want to call (Aladdin) first to see if they have what you want.

ill be there this weekend as well, I think i heard someone say its the PBR (pro bull riders) that will be there this weekend.

Monte Carlo is a great room, with great staff you should enjoy yourself. Lets us know how it went on Monday.
