Am I Beat? (Part 2) $100+9
This one's a little weirder. I couldn't figure out what his bets meant. I assume most of you will dislike my flop call and would lay down the turn. Oh, and my limp UTG maybe.

Re: Am I Beat? (Part 2) $100+9
I raise this preflop but ok limping is not ridiculous. On the flop I would definitely reraise allin. Also I wouldn't overbet the pot so much on the flop. btw raise preflop with JJ and these postflop decisions sometimes get a lot easier! |

No it's not that easy really. I don't know really, I rarely get into this situation with JJ because I almost never limp with it preflop in sit and go's. I would move allin here however. btw considering that you have a big stack, makes me a lot MORE likely to raise preflop. |
Re: Am I Beat? (Part 2) $100+9
Even though you were in very early position I think you shouldn'tve limped. Than pushed on the flop.

once again, curtains whacks it on the head. i dont mind the limp with JJ preflop, i make this play on occasion. however, it IS a bit tougher to play post flop without knowing where you are at. since you are a bigstack, raising is probably the preferred method. as for getting your chips in post flop, you have to push when he raises you. he raises there with a 10, very likely. get your chips in. on the turn, i really dont see any way you can fold. holla

Also remember that even though it is only level 1, it is 8 handed making JJ that much of a bigger hand so raise it up.

See, not only do you limp but now you overbet the pot, making the BB frisky with both a lone T and 2 pair.
Personally, having limped, I'd bet 50 and fold to the CR but this would never come up because I don't limp here. Having limped and basically told myself 'hey, I'm playing to flop a set and I'll go ahead and let BB keep his two completely random cards', when he tells you his random cards hit I go ahead and fold. |
