Ever limp with AA on the bubble?

Is there ever any merit i limping with on the button in hope of getting some action, instead of just settling for the blinds?

I've tried it 4 times, and each of them BB hd flopped trips.... Have I just been unlucky or is just a bad move for my part? Should I just be happy with the blinds and forget about fancy play?

If you should limp, what should the situation be like? What should your stack size be compared to the others?

Yes, I have done this with AA and KK sometimes if the table has been tight. But if that is the 1st time you limped and the players are not stupid, they may realize you are hiding a monster.

I rarely do this, but I would consider it if there was a very aggressive player left to act after me whom I could count on to raise / push after sensing weakness.

Usually when I get a monster, I just push it, since I've probably been pushing alot anyway during bubble time.

The problem with limping is that the players who are prone to push when you limp also are the players that get suspicious when a player who pushed a lot suddenly limps.

I do limp from time to time and sometimes I minraise/standardraise/push. Most of the time I push though.

Couldn't agree more... I rarely do it. I was just referring to situations where there is an utter maniac to my left. Really the best disguise of a monster is to raise the same with it that you do with all your other hands - which at bubble time usually calls for a push.
