Anyone play 1/2 or 2/5NL at Cherokee in Tulsa?

Looking to play during week while on business and was wondering how good the players are? It's a bit of a drive for me to get there so any info will be appreciated.

Thanks,
PeteN

1/2NL is about as soft as it gets, especially on the weekends. Lots of WPT watching farmboys decide to cash their check and head into town to give NLHE a try.

2/5NL is usually the biggest NL action they have, so you see a range of skill levels.

I usually stick to 1/2 just because it so soft.

pete,

I live in tulsa but don't play much live poker. I can say that all the games in town are really soft, even the highest limit games even though they aren't high at all (10-20 to 20-40). if you are staying on the west side of town check out creek nation casino on 81st and riverside. I know they spread 1-2 and 2-5 nl.

Which direction you drivin from? Cherokee in Siloam Springs (65 miles east of Tulsa) has all the same games but fewer players. At both casinos the players in the 1/2 are pretty weak. There's not that many tourists but most the "regulars" think nothing of making monster preflop raises and calls (seeing 5 people call a $20 preflop raise with cards like KT os is common.) I haven't played the 2/5 at either venue so I don't know what the player quality is like. Whatever you do stay away from Blackjack at the Cherokee - never seen a casino that a) Autoshuffles after 15 % of the shoe has been dealt b) Charges a 50 cent rake per hand.
