A hand reading exercise
Party poker game, 10 handed.
I post in the CO. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO+1 folds, I raise, button folds, SB folds, BB folds. |
Re: A hand reading exercise
You had two cards that totalled over 10.

I'll need at least ATo or AXs to try this in .5/1 You're likely to be called be the BB in my experience.

Re: A hand reading exercise
This is an easy raise with any two cards.

Re: A hand reading exercise
I think the bigger question is what could the other 9 players have that none of them called? I mean, is it possible that no one had a hand with Axo, any face card, suited or a 0-3 gap? And on top of that decided not to call "just to see the flop"?
Or did you actually find the one fishless table on Party? -t |
Re: A hand reading exercise
My table presence is so ungodly powerful that they prefer not to tangle with me or my post. I'm one scary dude. I prefer the seat with the scary old guy in the hat that looks like he touches children.

Re: A hand reading exercise
Two cards?

Re: A hand reading exercise
T5o, as JTG has said, it does play to the high and low straight.

Re: A hand reading exercise
If you have no cards, how are you playing?

Re: A hand reading exercise
I think you raised to steal and it didn't matter what cards you had. If you got called, fine. If you got reraised, you would have folded.
*edit* Thinking about this more......10 handed huh? Beginning of tourney or close to it. How much was the raise? Seems that would be important info. Doubt anyone would have a read on you yet unless they've played with you before this tourney. |
Re: A hand reading exercise
Since nobody else guessed it yet, I'm gonna go with the lock hand, good ole' Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Re: A hand reading exercise
Good point. I'm just now learning to calculate and take advantage of pot and hand odds.

Re: A hand reading exercise
Seriously, at .50/1.00, how many times are you folded to in the CO?
|
All times are GMT -4. The time now is 02:01 AM. |
