Did anyone see the zoo vs ss replay at True

Is it going to be a free roll or do they want us to ante up another 22?

Pretty sure Joe Tall won. After which he cursed out True the other players, , Bush, Ganish, Gahdi.
Pokersoftware messing up ohh the injustice. It won't stand.

According to the tourney as it's listed, you have to buy-in at $22. I would wait on Mike Haven to see what is going on with the prize pool for this event and the last one.

Re: Did anyone see the zoo vs ss replay at True

I am totally bemused.

I wrote to True Support today to ask them to ask Mr Gzesh if he would confirm that we would be having another $20+$2 Tourney on Thursday 26th February 8.30pmEST, with $10 Play Rebate for having played 100 raked ring games, and $2 Early Bird Rebate for early registration.

I received an e-mail from Support saying that they had forwarded my e-mail to Mr Gzesh.

That's as much as I know about it, so far.

I am hoping that he is waiting until he has reconstituted the chip holdings of the last 34 Players at the infamous break before he writes to me with full details of the payout for the last Tourney. (That's the most charitable thing I can think of saying, in the circumstances.)

As we all received our previous $22 back, yes, we have to pay for this one. I am trying to negotiate added prize money as well, hopefully $5 per Player.

What is the new EarlyBird deadline?

Any chance the payout from the 1st Tourney will be before the EarlyBird deadline?

I hope so. I still like True and I'll probably go back eventually, but I doubt I'll play in the new tournament unless all of the issues with the old tournament are settled first.

What is the new EarlyBird deadline?

It should be about midnight 23rd February, so there is plenty of time for him to have sent me at least one more e-mail at his current rate of one per two weeks.

Yes, It was me. I'm the reason that True has been slow to reply.

I am so powerful.

I've got my original $22. As soon as I get whatever the last 34 end up with, I'm bugging out of True and taking (another) amazon.com shopping spree.

Re: Did anyone see the zoo vs ss replay at True

So how have the remaining 34 players got anything extra from this whole affair?

If we are paying to get into this replay and the chip counts are going to be what they were before then surely we have not been given anything extra for the mess up (except perhaps an extra $5 per player). It is just as if the game were paused at the break and is being re-started now.

The only people who have benefitted are the players who got knocked out before the break last time amd got their refund.

This seems a little unfair...

especially when Mr True said:

We will rerun the tournament without charge at a date and time at your choice.

[/ QUOTE ]

This must surely at least mean no fee if not a freeroll?

Okay, I'm still a little confused here. That's probably understandable since Mike Haven still hasn't gotten a full email from True though.

There's going to be another 20+2 tourney? Can everyone sign up or is it just for the final 34?

100 Hands bonus. What's the deadline for that?

Early bird special. When's the deadline for that?

What happened to the freeroll that we were promised?

Re: Did anyone see the zoo vs ss replay at True

OK, I think that a lot of misinformation is floating around regarding the True situation, mainly b/c of different things being said by different folks.

Here's what is known:

There is a $20+2 tourney set up for 02/26 on True, this is the Zoo/SS/Toons tourney.

Regarding the previous tourney, last word was that the prize pool would be split between the remaining 34, possibly on stack sizes. The four individual winners would get a larger portion of the pie for sure.

TrueCEO stated we would get a freeroll. But, I doubt that he is going to pay our the prize pool to the remaining 34 AND give us a freeroll. I'm sure he'll add a little value to the 02/26 tourney, but I don't think he meant he would pay the prize pool from the messed up tourney to the 34 remaining and give us a freeroll of equal value.

I think the 02/26 tourney will be open to everyone and we will be starting with equal amount of chips.

Ahhh ok thanks.

That makes things much clearer. And it makes a lot more sense....

Thanks

The new Tourney is a re-run of the original, as if the original didn't happen. (Same Password.)

The Play Rebate relates to hands played before the off. (I'm hoping he will agree to carry-forward Players' earned Rebates.)

I am assuming the Early Bird Rebate will apply to Registrations made before midnight 23rd February.

Instead of a freeroll, the 34 Players will receive prizes totalling at least the equivalent amount of the previous Prize Fund. I am hoping True will agree to adding cash value to the new Tourney.

I am hoping True will communicate with me or the forum.

Is the upcoming tournament on the 23rd limited to only those who played in the on that got botched?

Re: Did anyone see the zoo vs ss replay at True

No. (It's on Thursday the 26th, by the way.)

A number of Team Members are unable to play this time round, for one reason or another, and so I am hoping others will pm me to volunteer to represent their respective favourite forums.
