That early in a stt, especially to a raise, I fold that.

Re: Back to basics - who completes this?

I'm folding this. Maybe I'm too tight, but I don't want to be involved in any multi-way pot early on with A-rag.

How did the SB raise to 45 when the BB is 30?

...I'm a blind defender at heart - but I easily fold Arag every time against a raise in my BB.

He minraised to 60.

15 for him to call for 30 to raise.

30+15=45

I fold this.

OK, but what do you all do if there hasn't been a limper and SB miniraises you with Arag?

LOL, actually I 'turned' a boat. But, even if I hadn't I wanted to post this. This is a tricky spot for me. What range of hands can I comfortably call a minimum raise with? I'm out of position but getting decent odds so will you make a call with higher suited connectors (ie 10Js, JQs)? How about AJo?

Re: Back to basics - who completes this?

I wouldn't play with any suited connectors at all, except maybe AK, though I'd think about raising. You can't think about pot odds so much early in an SNG because it hurts you a lot later on when you don't hit.

I tend to fold all the hands you mentioned unless I have some sort of note on the villain. Even if you play JQs and flop TPGK, you have a really difficult hand to play OOP - I don't think you are losing value by just letting it go.
