No

You receive 20% of your players' total action times theoretical house advantage. Whether your players actually win or lose is irrelevant.

I'm almost 100% sure this is wrong. You win/lose along with (well, in reverse of) your players.

What is the % Party feels the BJ HA is in their calculation? According to Wiz's calculator its .55%.

I'm just basing what I said on what is published on party's affiliate website. Maybe you know better than them.

I was under the impression you recieve 20% of actual wins and losses. It would be horribly unfair to pay only on HA, as 99% of players are not using proper strategy, so the HA is far greater.

Re: Does PP BlackJack losses count towards your MGR?

I have tested it peronsally and its about under 1% you get for every dollar wagered irregardless of whether your player wins or loses.

And yes Party is getting away with ripping off affiliates because we're getting paid optimal strategy while the majority of players are playing nothing close. What i would like to see is party pay us out based on the actual edge that the BJ game gave them over the month. So if they made 10 million on 100 million wagered the affiliates MGR would be 10% of wagered money of which they get their 20-25% cut.

I talked with one guy who is signed up under me. he played and lost 400$. I got less then 2$ out of it.

we get 20% of the house edge on total amount wagered. house edge is roughly 1%. i can dig through my emails if someone wants more specifics. win/loss is irrelevant.

I remember being told that win/loss DOES matter, but i could be wrong -- it's late.

BJ REVENUES is calculated like this

HOUSE KEEP= 1%X BET AMOUNT

AFFILIATE REVENUE= 20% X HOUSE KEEP

BJ revenue is calculated for MGR Trackers only and not on CPA Trackers.

Parent affiliates also make Sub affiliate revenue of BJ Revenues u earn!

From the affiliate area:

Blackjack is now available on PartyPoker.com. Your players will be able to play Poker and Blackjack at the same time, using the same account. They will also be able to place Side Bets on the outcome of the flop on real money tables.

Revenue from bets against the house, i.e. Black Jack, Side Bets etc, ("House Win Games") will be shown separately in your Affiliate Stats as ‘House Win Revenue’.

You will receive 20% of House Win Revenue* for your players for all your MGR trackers. You will be able to see the House Win Revenue from your players against each tracker.

*House Win Revenue is calculated as Standard house win rates (%) times Value of wagers by your players ($).

This means there will be no negative accruals for House Win Games.
Please contact your Account Manager or write to us at [email protected] if you have any queries on the applicable standard house win rates.

Just for the record, when blackjack was first added... the affiliate program was based on actual win/loss... it was fairly quickly modified to the HA based system that exists now.

There was extensive discussion here on how to game the win/loss affiliate system, and that is likely what you remember!

Among other reasons, I believe this was changed because some of the affiliates complained that they didn't want to assume the risk of loss from winning BJ players

There was also significant board traffic on how to take advantage of affiliates under the win/loss system.

No you're right. I was basing my statement on the original affiliate BJ deal, which has been changed.
