How far should I go with this?

BB just sat down so no read. CO is 75/9/.3 so Im not too concerned about him. Seen him call down with much worse and wanted to punish him on the turn.

Raises? You've got the 2nd nuts

Edit: I'm capping
Double edit: I'm not raising preflop

With no read, I was thinking I should be concerned, but I guess Im wrong. I cappped the turn and he didnt seem to care.

I don't get the preflop raise.

And I'd probably put in one more raise on the river. It's not hard to imagine BB having a set or two pair that he's overexcited about here.

At the time, I was thinking I wanted to isolate get it HU, but I probably dont have enough showdown value with jack high.

You've capped the turn, and villain still leads into you on the river. He either doesn't give you credit for a flush, or he knows you've got a flush, and doesn't care, because he has the nut flush.

Axs seems very plauisible to me here. No, I'm not narrowing his hand range to just that, but when he 3 bets me on the river, I have to give it credence. I guess I don't mind the river raise, but I can't see capping it.

FYP.

Another reason this isn't good is that you're isolating a loose player (you didn't mention his post flop tendencies, but I'll extrapolate based on 70% VPIP) with a multiway hand. This is the kind of guy who (as demonstrated above) loves to call call call, so it's going to be hard to push him out of the pot.

Nice play on the turn. And I raise the river.

with utg in there one more raise is a no-brainer IMO

way more combos of sets/two pr/worse flush than nut flushes

I would definetly raise, because you have the second nuts and this guy prolly does not need the nuts to play his hand aggressivley. If he 3 bets i would just call.

How many of those are bet/3-betting on the river after the turn action? You might be right about UTG making up the diffenece though.

I Agree .... Take charge from late position

Re: How far should I go with this?

I guess if you are going to play this hand, raising it makes sense. I don't like calling. I think it is fold / raise. I would probably raise this 20%, fold 80%.

I don't cap this river, raising however has value as a lot of hands you beat will bet this river but when he 3-bets his range is narrowed to making calling better than capping. At least in my opinion anyway.
