Where should I order dinner from? (Santa Monica)

I'm pretty new to Santa Monica still, but apparently I can order from all of these places. Any OOT recomendations from this list?

Not here:Jack Sprat's Grille - Healthy Californian Cuisine

Sounds about as flavorful as paste. No offense to the paste industry...

NOT ON THE LIST BUT WORTH A SERIOUS LOOK:

La Monica's Pizza in Westwood Village (near UCLA)

New york style, pizza by the slice or an entire pie.

Best Pizza in LA by far.

I haven't eaten at any of those places but I don't think you can go wrong with Chinese takeout...

They are all pretty good. I guess it really depends on what you have a taste for. I'm having Mr. Cecil's BBQ. Its over on Pico by Bundy. They do deliver. Quite good.

I actually had dinner at Boa last night. It was real good, but I'm not gonna order steak tonight.

I eat California Chicken Cafe 3 times a week. Cheap, relatively healthy, and tasty. Not positive where it is in Santa Monica, but you have to pick it up.

Zankou Chicken

Santa Monica Blvd at Sepulveda.

You will get hooked.

Shaniac - Shant is correct. Zankou Chicken if you haven't been is terrific. Order the Chicken Schwerma (sp.?) plate. It's delicious and cheap. Get an extra garlic sauce with the order and an extra pita.

Off the list - Josie is good, I like their rack of lamb.

Hungry for Zankou,
-Al
