2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
During downtime at work, I've been printing out and studying some of Bisonconverted hands that people have been posting, and the 2+2ers analyses of these hands.
It's nice getting paid to study poker. One 2+2er I especially enjoy reading is Stellarwind, who usually posts on the Small Stakes forum. Who are some of your favorites, and where do they primarily post? |
Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
Ed Miller. I think he is mainly posting in the " The HoneyMooners " forum these days.

this isn't even remotely close .
archives, ray zee. theres one where a whole bunch of regular posters (much smaller pool of them then) were speculating as to the villian's most likely hand. ray zee says villian has "XY" and thats exactly what it turned out that villian had. and he does that quite a bit. its scary. Barron |

Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
From the current bunch, Iv'e actually been enjoying the recent posts by Westley878, wherever he came from....
Whilst he's no Ray Zee or Ed Miller, his hand ananlysis is simple, clear, thoughtful & pragmatic. Totally refreshing compared to the standard one-liners. |
Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
Wes is EXCELLENT. He's my favorite regular poster.

Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
this one is easy.
stinkypete. |
Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
Somebody was trying to convince me that Wes was good, and I was shocked because when he started a few months ago he was horribly weak tight and said some things that made me question if he actually played poker. Apparently he's improved, but I'm still iffy on anybody who was that bad not that long ago.

Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
I don't know about his history -- but read his recent posts. I'm not saying he's right everytime: But his posts are lucid & generally correct. He does a good job of making hand analysis seem simple, which is very pragmatic when you are actually sitting at the table. Of the current poster in mid/high, he as helped my game more than many of the well known posters.
I have also enjoyed flawless_victory's posts of "cap preflop" and "raise the flop", which, whilst a complete opposite of Wes, are also simple and easily applicable in their own way..... |

Re: 2+2\'s Best Hand Analyzers?
Ikke and it's not close.
Unfortunately, all of his posts are in the archives. For NL it is riverboatking. What makes these guys stand out is their long detailed posts. regards, raisins |
