who folds a royal draw? It's worth your stack just to say you had one.

There's only one really bad play on this list, and it's not from him. Can't blame cold cards for your river play here.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

What are you trying to illustrate here?

You make bad mistakes in every hand.

1) Fold or call the river, no point in raising.
2) Your all-in on the turn is horrible.
3) Fold preflop.

beeyjay 12-15-2005 06:45 PM

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

First of all I don't think I mentioned anything about trying to illustrate anything. Im just frustrated.

1. I agree completely that the first one is an easy call and I was a moron to push.
2. I don't think its horrible.
3. Why the hell would I fold this preflop for $1? Especially considering at least a couple people could be pretty easily convinced I'm tilting.

BigBiceps 12-15-2005 07:24 PM

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

2. if anyone calls you have 10 outs max (and probably less).
3. preflop, you are out of position with a marginal hand.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

Why did you call the river in hand 1? You know an ace can play high or low, right?

You were in fact tilting, making anyone's reads on you correct, negating any value you got by making them "think" you were tilting.

Hand 2 and 3 are fine. Hand 1 call the river.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

Why did you raise all in on a 4-straight board?

And in the other hand...villain had a ROYAL FLUSH draw dude. Those pay more. Or something.

its that whole not thinking before you talk thing but applied to poker.

I really need to just leave the table after somebody beats me in a big pot cuz they're garantted to do it again apparently. Todays 2 hands against same guy:

AA vs KK all in preflop. He hits his K and I lose. whatever.
Half hour later different table but same guy,
I flop nut straight he hits set, rivers boat.

I was still pretty straight with it trying not to tilt like [censored] after yesterdays little display and jokingly type something like 'man thats the second time today.' He starts talking ish about how he is just better and losers always come up with excuses. Ya that sent me off. but i quit instead of throwing away buyins. im proud.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

For hand #2, I would have re-raised instead of calling on the flop.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

Who cares if he says that he's better after sucking out a pot?

Everyone thinks they are the best. I usually show them my bankroll and ask if they wish to play me at HU NL. When they decline they usually STFU.

Re: 4 buyins to the same doucher

Tough luck, but tilt had to play a part.

Hand 1: Raise pre-flop, makes rest of hand easier to play and push earlier. Calling river is questionable (although depending on SB style of play) if SB won't donk with a pot bet without straight, I am folding.

Hand 2: You are getting 4-1 to call and are behind a lot of hands, all-in is asking for winning a pot right there you are ahead in and losing one your behind in.

Hand 3: Tough bet, I would reraise the flop. Any heart probably beats you.

agreed you played this hand as bad as you can play it. I've done similar crap but never complained when I butchered almost every street.
