Have to go with it, right?

Villain has pretty loose stats:

28.38 VP$IP and 6.34% Pre-flop raise over 268 hands.

And before anyone can say anything, yes I should have raised more preflop...probably to something like $55.

Yes, easy push.

No, but seriously. You reraise to $42 tells everyone, "hey I got a big pair." It's $30 to call for UTG so he can legitimately call for set value if he thinks you will pay him off.

Make it 55-60 preflop. This is obviously read dependent, but it looks to me like a set of J or 9, so I'd fold (if that was what I placed him one). Also notice that you don't have the Ah which would greatly improve your chances of winning if you pushed and were behind.

you'll see QQ and KK or draws or bluffs here as much as you'll see JJ (which is all I can think of that beats u, MAYBE 99)

If you were up against Garland and he reraised you preflop and bet 3/4 of a large pot on the flop, would feel very happy with QQ?

I think you're burning money here if you go with this.

Push. KK, QQ, AhKh, AJ,10-10, bluff are all posibilities. And many people slowplay JJ here. I think you're definitely ahead more often than not and villian is pot stuck.

how do u check fold AA in one hand,

and push all in after a raise representing likely JJ set. or 99 is possible as well.

Stats have a lot to do with it. The flop other than the J was not scary at all. The possibilities for villain's hands increase.

Sometimes, we make decisions based on reads.

Re: Results...

As it seems the villian in the hand with J9x has a tigher preflop raise requirment.

Given that he did raise it and called wouldn't u put him somewhere between TT-QQ, somtimes KK/AA?

After the flop raise, U can pretty much narrow it down between a poorly played AA/KK , JJ, and a bluff?

I don't see QQ raising this flop after the only high pp that is below him just landed on the flop.

Whereas the hand with AA on KQx, you made no effort for the pot, so the only information u could have used was his preflop stats and the bet size. the latter a good player will disguise well, as they well ussually bet the same for a strong or weak hand.

Re: Have to go with it, right?

Read dependent and image-dependent. You reraise pre, have you done that with lots of hands or can he with some certanity put you on a big pair here? If so, you have told him "I have a big pair". He knows you are pretty keen on calling a raise then, but still raises. Not all-in, which he probably would have done with the flushdraw. I think you have to put him on trips here if you do the puzzle. But again, this is very read and imagedependet I think.
