OH MY GOD. You read my mind as soon as I saw the topic for the post. You don't know how many times I hear that song out (well, only a select few since I haven't been getting out much lately) but everytime I do SOMEONE says "I hate this [censored] song!"

I vote for that stupid [censored] song by the Pussy Cat Dolls. It's one of those songs that is really [censored] annoying but yet has a certain catchiness to it that makes you want to sing along.

You should see the video for this song. Very high on the unintentional comedy scale.

Don't forget about "laffy taffy" by d4l. The beat is ridiculous and repetitive.

"Grind on Me" by Pretty Ricky & The Mavericks. I worked at a hip hop radio station here for a few months and had to listen to that song constantly. I want to drive off a cliff every time I hear it.

I disagree with everything you say in your post. I find Mariah's songs pretty catchy. Same with Green Day's new album. Sure, all of these are incredibly overplayed, but they are still solid, in my opinion. To second what everyone else have said so far the Humps song by Black Eye Peas is definitely the worst one, what a piece of utter crap.

Since hearing "Photograph" and "Holla Back Girl" both want to make me pour scalding vegetable oil down my ear canals, and I have two ears, both songs are worthy of deafness.

As far as Black Eyed Peas go, I think you're being far too critical.

Their sound is both progressive and novel. I might hold some bias on this though, a guy I party with is a studio engineer and has worked with Will I Am who is basically a music genius, he plays 8 instruments and is really down to earth.

I had to work at a bank this summer that played top 40 radio in the background. I mustve heard hollaback girl damn near 500 times this summer. My friend worked at hte station and told me it got played 12-13 times in the hours that I worked, each day, 5 a week, for 10 weeks. I was ready to throw the radio out the window at one point. I might but it up there for worst song of all tine cause I hate it so much.
