but it seems to me that 0.25 / 0.50 is to low to earn bonus-points.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Go to BET365 and do the signup. They give you 100$ in free chips for 500 raked hands. As far as I know the signup can be played at any limit.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
carribean sun. $40+50 bonus. Takes a lot of hands to clear, but there are some lots of fish to make it profitable.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
I think this is only for the monthlies, no reqired limit for the signup
|
Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
I thought the signup was $0.50-$1 but I can't swear on it.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Better ask support, but there is no mentioning of a limit in the terms and conditions.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
its just 150$ don't worry about bankrolls and such. just play 1/2 or 2/4 if you go broke, which isn't super likely if you are a good player, who cares its not like you are trying to feed your family off that play. just save up another 150 and try again.
there are times to be risk adverse, and i don't know your situation, but if you honestly have 150$ to invest in poker, then this probably isn't one of those times. |

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
thanks for the help. what about fulltilt?

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
This is still bad advice, though. A bankroll is a bankroll even if it is $150. If that's what someone has set aside for poker, they should do what they can to protect it and make it grow.
I started with $50 or $100 ~2 years ago and play for a living now. At no point along the way did I risk my bankroll playing limit with less than 40BBs. |
Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Paradise
Bet365 Boss/IPN network Ultimate Bet Bet365 is probably the easiest to implement Pokertracker. I really don't think you need a HUD at 25c/50c limit, everyone sucks there. |

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Geez read UltimatePokerBankroll.com 's BR building guides and you'll turn it into $500 in no time. Their new one Linemakers is easy too.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Go to bet365 with the 150 bux and play .5/1. I cleared the first months bonus easily. I deposited 150 bux on there less than 2 weeks ago and already have run my account up to $380, and I have played between 1000-1500 hands. I cleared the bonus at .5/1 too. very soft play, although you do have to wait a couple of days for support to clear your bonus sometimes. I don't know if .5/1 works for the monthly bonus, as I am still waiting for support to get back to me. Hope this helps

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
I still think you can play the sign up at any limit, but of course it will be harder to get raked hands at .02/.5. For the monthlies the conditons are clearly stated as 1/2 for limit and.5/1 NL.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Play .25/.50 at a Prima site, incredibly soft from what I remember. If you don't have a Party account, then they have beginner tables where you can clean up.
Don't expect to clear much in the way of bonus this way. There's a bonus guide at BW, and that should give you more direction, but I'd recommend building at least $600 the old fashioned way (winning) before going whoring. It's better to learn to win before learning bad habits whoring. |
Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
get a party account and grind out 2x tables of .5/1 BEGGINER tables w/a sign up bonus and if you are a good player there is about 0 risk.

Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
As Roundest stated ignore most off the advice in this
thread! do the three boss site's casono.net,sporting bet and sporting odds.(do a search for Boss in this forum for more info). That should put you at $450 assuming you break even. Then do the bet365 sign up which has to be played at .50/1 and .25 has to be raked. If you don't mind playing 1/2limit or .50/1 no limit then do the reload. Don't do Party untill you have $500 to play with! Go thru the old posts on this forum for a lot more info! |
Re: Help; where to play limit with 150$
Manage your bankroll properly, and assuming you can play, you'll rarely have to worry aout going broke.
300BB is the rule. Bonus money is nice, but can quickly move you up into a limit where you are outmatched. Outmatched + small bankroll = broke. Poker isn't a race. There shouldn't be any pressure to perform, only to play well. |
