OT: When are you paid for the leaderboard?
 

When do you get your bonus from the leaderboard? And is it cash, or do you have to roll it over? Just wondering, couldn't find on Party's site...

In reference to your email, I would like to inform you that the pay out
for leader board point tournament for the month of November will be
given out on 7th of December 2005.

Doesn't really answer the question but I'm thinking maybe she means that all the money for the leaderboard will be given out on that day.

It's paid directly to your account. You may need to watch for it though because last time I received one it did not show anywhere in the account activity. The balance just mysteriously increased.

Party pokers delay in these matters are baffling.It seems to me they try to hang on to the cash for as long as possible.I cannot fathom a company so big would infuriate some of it's more valuable customers in this way.I mean there is nothing to work out.They make the promotion,it is known well beforehand,what is so complicated about sending out the cash?
Interest on the money for a few more days?
I can't think of any other reason.

I worked in sales for a small, aggressive and extremely profitable company. Basically, we didn't hand out money (rebates) unless they were asked for, and even then we'd drag our feet. You'd be surprised how many hundreds of thousands of dollars a company can save, or at least delay until next quarter, this way.

Flip side is your customers hate you and leave as soon as someone else has a comparable product.

Is it worth it for party in the present climate to use these methods.
I think not.There not bothered though.
I wonder if this will be the case a few months down the road.Party had a stranglehold on the market,they have opened the way for others and loyal customers are satisfied customers.Piss them off and that customer will sure enough cause alot of damage.But party does not care.Party will not know what hit them if the compitition play their cards right.

They are supposed to pay it on the 10th. Because the 10th is a Sat., I'm not expecting it until MON the 12th. There is really no winning dealing with these people. I had some trouble sending them some payment info this week. They kept telling me to send it, and I'd send it, and they wouldn't receive it. Nothing but hassle and frustration at incompetance.

Well I e-mailed them again today, and AGAIN they tell me "It will be posted within 48 hours" - Yeah, sure... Then they try and get me to do several other promotions in the same e-mail, as if they're doing a good job keeping up their end...
