NL .25/.50 hand for review please

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB ($6.50)
UTG ($50.20)
UTG+1 ($63.90)
MP1 ($108.90)
MP2 ($58.50)
Hero ($105.95)
CO ($31.55)
Button ($32.80)
SB ($21.15)

I have no read on Villain. He has not shown down a hand yet since being at the table and has not been involved in many hands. I have been playing pretty tight, the only hand I have shown down is top set against someone else's overpair and K9o in the big blind on a flop of QJ10.
Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 4 folds, MP1 calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $3, MP1 calls $3.

Villain makes a quick check to me, I bet $3 and he calls very quickly.

Turn: ($10.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $9, MP1 raises to $18, Hero calls $9.

Here he makes a quick check to me again, and I bet about the size of the pot, letting him know I have a hand and wasn't make a continuation bet with AK, AJ, etc. His minimum raise was immediate and I decided to just call and see what developed on the river.

River: ($46.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 bets $85.9 (All-In), Hero folds.

His bet was immediate.
Final Pot: $132.65

with no reads you've got to lay this one down i think.

not sure how i'd play it personally, as i've been donking it up the past day or two.

I'm folding this- looks like he hit his set and waited until the turn to pop you.

A fold to the minraise on the turn would have been sehr gOOt.

Just don't put too much into how "quickly" he responds. It probably indicates NOTHING. Easy lay down on the river, but I still don't know if I believe he's any better than TPTK. A value bet of about half the pot would be more indicative of the set or straight, but with no reads, lay down and wait for a better hand.

I'm not sure I fold here, but I'll reraise I think. If he pushes, then I doubt I can continue.

Generally, I look at insta-calls the same way I look at minbets; they're probably on a draw, and want to intimidate you into making it cheap for them.

That said, I don't think that's what villain has here, and I fold the river.

If stacksizes was smaller I often check behind here on the turn. As played fold river.

This looks like a tough lay down to me either he's got a straight, set, may aq aa's, kk's, or he bluffed your socks off, if he had aq he'd think he had the best hand. I think I'd of called him just to sleep at night. lol

I dont like it. Calling a large bet on turn and then folding the river that is. He is not gonna be betting a half pot on the river after that turn bet the vast majority of the time. You almost have to expect a huge river bet. Thus IMO you should decide if your hand is good now and decide to call the river bet (unless queen comes) or fold it up.

I'm looking to 3-bet the turn, and fold to a push, possibly to $35? I could easily see AQ-QT here given how donkish some players at this level must be.

i think he has a set but you needed to find out on the turn. reraise the turn and fold to a push. if he just calls check behind him on the river or fold if he leads it

Checking behind on the turn seems weak to me, but wonderful in hindsight. I wonder if checking behind on the turn and then calling any bet on the river is the most profitable line here?

As played either fold to his turn minraise (what is he doing here other than making you draw to 2 outs?), or repop it up to $40 and fold to a push. I hate repopping it here, BTW.

I honestly think that is the worst possible line.
