Ok, this is for you tree-hugging, death penalty hating, yet abortion supporting, Kerry fan, Socialist, Commie, Democrats who told me yesterday that pocket pairs were omgtbtitw (Oh My God The Best Things In The World).

So I am in another $.50+.10 sit n go on AP, blinds are 50/75. I am dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] one seat before the button.... I raise to 3 TIMES the BB, because all of you "Demoncats" told me to raise more than the one minimum I did yesterday. everyone folds except for the BB, who calls, his stack is 4750, mine is 1700, flop is 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I make a set, he bets 400, I am like "Thank you John Smith" (because I am a Republican and a Mormon) so I call his ass, turn is 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he checks. Now I know I have it. I bet 300, he pushes me all in. I am like, "I totally have this!" so I call him, I am all in. I type in the text box, "You just made the biggest mistake of your life kid." The river is J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]........

He tables J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]....(he has a flush of flowers)
that fish sucked out out on me.....thanks for all the great advice on how great pocket pairs were, you fishes...
I wish I could "flush" all you dead fish down the toilet with your "omgppasfap" (oh my god pocket pairs are so f-ing amazing propaganda)

I would also like to motion that the term "flush" be flushed (pun heavily intended) we should rename them "toilets" because anyone who plays sh!t cards to a raise is very similar to a toilet....they are full of sh!t!!!!! [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

If you thought you had this, as you mentioned, you should have re-raised his raise after the flop (perhaps an all-in). At least, that's what I would have done. Then again, I'm no pro by ANY means, so don't take my word on that. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Yesterday, I'm playing Full Tilt, folded to me on the button, I have pocket deuces, I limp in, so it's me and the two blinds. Flop comes deuce, 10, Jack. SB bets the pot, BB folds, I raise, SB goes all in. I call. He shows J-5 of hearts. Turn is a jack, sweet, I have a boat, river is a ten. Really now, who goes all in with J-5?
Few hands later I flop another set, idiot goes in, I call, he catches two running spades to make a flush. I don't think it's the pocket pairs as it is making sets with them. From now on, whenever I flop a set, I'm folding, I'm folding whether it's been bet or not, I'm folding out of position, I just want those cards as far away from me as possible.
