Re: Full Tilt Down?

IN case anyone's wondering about my question...

Just got an email...

If you were in a cash game, then yes, you will still get credited the
money you had.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. This has happened twice
recently and our staff is working hard to get everything back online. I
know this has been frustrating for you, and I thank you for your
patience during this time.

Re: Full Tilt Down?

yep, it appears to be down. i also have $$$$$ involved. had 100+ at a $1/2 limit table. and above avg. chip stack in a tourney. thought the orig. question was "Full Tilt down?"

Re: Full Tilt Down?

In the past, Two things have happened if you were in an MTT...
If the MTT already reached the money, then you will get the money for whatever chip position you were in.
If the MTT did not reach the money yet, then it will be voided and you get your buy-in back.

Yep, this is twice in the last three nights, guess they just grew too fast for their server? Sucks, I'm working on cashing out a bonus...

Re: Full Tilt Down?

This happened around Oct 11th also. At that time they said the servers hadn't crashed but that they experienced a "catastrophic loss of Internet connectivity". It appears that they still haven't got this one figured out.

Re: Full Tilt Down?

Full tilt is operated by Kolyma Corporation which is based in Aruba so I assume thats where the servers are.

Re: Full Tilt Down?

Man, this is pissing me off!!! What the heck!!! It's like been for like all day basically!!!!!!

They seriously better give a good explanation, or seriously, i'm about to go on an all-out effort to discredit them and publicly!!!! I mean every forum, every blog, etc...

ANd the stupid message on the homepage says "Will be back up shortly"

How irresponsibly dishonest is that!!!!!

Bad friggin business....

Re: Full Tilt Down?

I have sent them an extremely frustrated email. This is absolutely ridiculous. I come home from work, and I want to play poker online. This has been the 2nd time in the past 3 days that their servers have been down during the 8:00 pm through 1:00 am timeframe EST, which has to be the busiest time of the day. I can't take my money and go elsewhere now because the server won't come up. I am seriously thinking about going back to Party.

They refunded me for the SNG I was in... even though I went out in 9th BEFORE the crash.

2planka 12-01-2005 11:32 AM

Re: Full Tilt Down?

I just signed up on Monday, was there for Monday night's crash, and wanted to work on my bonus last night. Not pleased.

I did find the games very good, though, when I could actually play. The SH games were very passive. Stud was full of chasers, and the SNG's seemed pretty good. Hope they sort this stuff out.

Re: Full Tilt Down?

Perfect resolve of this problem. I was on 4 tables, and they deposited $10 for each table.

This does make up for it, as it was very very annoying.

THUMBS UP for FTP... excellent customer service!
