How often do you get paid?
 

I'm a salary employee. Payday comes once a month. I've never heard of any other job paying once a month unless it was just commission checks going to a salesman. But they still got a weekly or bi-weekly salary check too.

I'm a programmer too. Do you like getting paid once a month? I hate it. I tend to go on early month spending sprees and then have to cut way back towards the end.

One good thing is that I have most of my bills set up to be due on the first week of each month. All of my loan payments are due on the 4th (home, vehicles). Insurance is due on the 3rd. Some other bills I don't have control over the due date, but I just pay them during the first week anyway.

I also get paid monthly. Personally I'm not a big fan, would probably prefer every other week, but you learn to adjust.

The "bonus" paycheck is always good times. Learn to live without it, and stuff it in the bank, bankroll, christmas presents, hoors, what have you in the months they arrive.

I also get paid once a month, and its awesome.

Unfortunately, my company was bought out, and we are going to get paid twice a month starting in January. I have no idea how I am going to adjust to that.

On the 15th and 30th of every month. If either day is non-business, deposits come on the closest business day before that date.

At my old job, we got paychecks every two weeks, so we got that three checks in a month business. I think I like that way better...seems like you're getting more money twice a year.

Monthly paydays are pretty standard for office/bluecollar work in the UK. Shop/Bar work etc is more likely weekly I suppose.

I get paid every Friday. I would hate to go back to anything less frequent- this way makes it much easier to budget and get bills paid on time without impoverishing myself.

I used to get paid weekly, it was great because you were never broke for more than 6 days.

15th and end of the month. i get direct deposit, no paycheck. i always get it at midnight (ie. after 11:50pm on the 14th) if that day falls on a weekend i get it on the friday before, thus thursday at midnight.
