What do girls read on the internet?

Since the recent poll shows that OOT is at least 97% male, it begs the question: What DO girls read on the internet? It's not sports, OOT, p*ker, or other stupid stuff. What is the female equivilant to OOT?

The vast majority just don't spend time on the internet like we do. We're happy to talk meaningless crap on internet message boards, they're happy to talk meaningless crap on the phone for hours a day.

Tucker has been my idol ever since the day my fiancee left, strictly because he's exactly how I used to be before I met her.

For being a complete and raging [censored] to countless females, his forum is amazingly populated by women. Many of them would score highly on the OOT scale.

Being one of the 3% here... just took a looksee at my favorites list - here's a sample:
~ 2+2 (lurk a couple times a day, for a few minutes - unless playing poker then bounce around here more)
~ News sites - NY Times, Boston.com & my local paper
~ Ivillage.com (chick site)
~ research sites for my work
~ a couple of horoscopes sites
~ ebay - either selling or browsing
~ recipe sites
~ but - mostly email all day long.
Pretty damn boring huh!

My female friends watch far more TV than my buddies; my buddies spend more time on the internet doing.... various activities.

Girls definitely spend a lot more time on myspace, facebook, etc. My female friends are all hyper obsessive facebook stalkers.

"More recently, to beg the question has been used as a synonym for "to raise the question", or to indicate that "the question really ought to be addressed". This usage is often sharply criticized by proponents of the traditional meaning, but has nonetheless come into sufficiently widespread use that it is now the most common use of the term."

Female internet usage: a trip report

What I did on the internet today (probably fairly typical of my usual internet usage during work):

Activities repeated on a regular basis:
-refresh and read my livejournal friends page
-refresh and read OOT, the Zoo, and the SNG forums
-refresh and read the forum my friends and I have
-refresh the webcomic Something Positive and curse under my breath because it's not updated
-check ebay for xmas presents/presents for myself
-read bash.org
-check my email
-talk on IM
-actually do work (I'm a web developer)

Once-a-day activities:
-read Dear Abby and Annie's Mailbox
-read Something Positive when the cartoonist actually posts something
-check the weather
-start writing a livejournal post, even though I haven't updated it in months and no one but me cares about my boring update, but hey, it's something to do
-look up recipes to make for dinner

After work, I tend to pretty much repeat all my daytime activites, substituting the game which shall not be mentioned for work.
