I know to never fold KK but...

Hero is UTG with KK and raises to 2.5, all folds to SB who raises to 4.5, Hero re-raises to 12, SB raises to 32. Can i fold now? What else is he reraising and leaving some in our stacks for? Could this ever be JJ or QQ?

You don't give stack sizes or level. But I think, when in doubt PUSH! His stats would help. But I don't let go of KK pf unless the guy is Lord Rock (I play 25-50NL)

And yes, I've seen this with JJ, QQ and even AK. A lot of donks slowplay AA at low levels.

i've definitely seen this with 99-QQ, AK, AQ.

im putting all my chips in the middle, and if he turns over AA, well nh.

After 2K hands at $50 max is KK one of my biggest loosing hands. And the reasen is exactly becaus of that! I go all in with KK and then lose against AA. KK is not that strong in a RR pot!

And the biggest pots I won with AA is against KK...

if KK is one of your biggest losing hands then you've got some issues that to be resolved..

Stack sizes in hand are like 120 bb's, $60

Oh and don't fold KK preflop unless he's a super rock with like 5vp$ip/1pfr or you're playing with scared money and its 3buyin effective stacks or more

I like to belive that I been unlucky with KK in my small sample.. I had a win % with kk that was as low as 50%. And I think I have run into AA twice with this small sample.. Lets hope more hands mean better stats for me

I know but my point was that you will loose alot if you do not fear AA sometimes. I atleast, would think twice if I got rereraised all-in from a rock if I had KK...

true.. when your sample size grows it should (hopefully) get a lot better.

and yeah, with a rock rr'ing preflop i'd think - but for the average player, [censored] that i'm pushing!

Re: I know to never fold KK but...

You should run KK vs AA in a 6-max game about once every 10,000 hands. You will win 1 out of 5 of those, so you will only lose KK vs AA in 6 max 1 every 12,000 hands.

So to the 2nd poster who was complaining about his 2k hand downswing.... you sir, are a moron.

I don't think it is unreasonable to put him on AA-QQ, AKo, AKs. Against that range you are a favorite. With the added possibility that it is indeed AA you are probably about 50% or a slight dog.

Definitely worth a call here.

Now if there were raises and reraises with other players involved it would be a different story.

I agree.. this exact play happened to me yesterday, villian had 99 (he spiked a 9) I would push all day with that. ahh finally got to vent that bad beat also.

Doubled stacked, I don't think folding is a horrible idea. You'll see an overplayed QQ or AK here periodically but 75% of the time its the exact hand that you thought it was.

Single stacked I'm folding like never.

Re: I know to never fold KK but...

at $25NL KK cant be folded. you would have to have a R,RR,RR in front of you and even then you need to think twice. This subject has really been exhausted already

Re: I know to never fold KK but...

its not 25NL and its not party

Re: I know to never fold KK but...

You will not see aces enough here to making this push incorrect , this is a push at almost any limit. He has AA o well.

Re: I know to never fold KK but...

I just pushed my AA vs. his KK the other day...

Guess what the flop-turn-river was???

RAG- KING- RAG.... KING - RAG....

YAY.

Just a small story that you're dogged if he has AA, but poker has a way of revealing that 18% in funny (not really funny to me at that time) ways...
