Sleeping with random girls
 

I think I'm alone here, but I'd like to see some thoughts on why everyone else is different. I am incapable of sleeping with a girl if I have no emotional attachment to her. I'd need to be really drunk or high to consider it, and even then, it probably wouldn't happen. I don't think it had anything to do with my upbringing, as my parents have never said much about it that I can recall. I'm just not comfortable with it. A hot girl has flat out told me to call her to have sex and I can't do it. I don't see how everyone else can be ok with it. If I was worked up and horny, I would want to, but after I orgasmed and I return to normal, I would feel like complete [censored].

Eh, I'm with you kurosh. I like sex, but I don't need it all the time bad enough to sleep with some random girl. Of course, if she's crazy hot, I'm all for it, so I guess we're different in that respect. But, for the most part, I don't do the whole one night thing.

1 million bucks says im over 21, which is probably something you cant say. and i agree, having lots of sex doesnt mean a lack of morals. how can something that feels so good and isn't bad for the body be immoral? (of course, we're not including stds here)

I agree it's really hard to sleep with lots of girls with no emotional attachment. I did the "man whore" thing for like 3 months my junior year of college. It just felt crappy and I wanted a girlfriend the whole time.

it's also not necessarily a one * per incident thing - some go straight to multiple *s or a ban, based on the offense.

In regards to your initial post, I agree with you somewhat. Most guys would rather have a girlfriend, or at the very least, know something about the girl first, and I don't mean just A/S/L. One night stands and whores in general are not attractive. Also, what is really the point? Is it worth the risks, both to your health and overall emotional(aka life's) well being. There is plenty of drama and issues that go along with banging random broads.

I've read this whole thread, there are either

a) a lot of liars trying to look sensitive
b) a lof of guys with lack of confidence with women, no game, or realistically have no shot with most girls.
c) a lot of guys who live with their parents/roommates
d) all of the above
e) The upper 1% of sensitive males.

Not that a guy who chases this is an admirable trait, but if you live on your own and go out, have no other emotional attachments, (this is important--if there is someone else in you life, whether you are pining for them, or whatever) and enjoy the company of women...there cannot be anything less weird. I'd like to see thes people here in there early 20's, go out in NYC, chat up some girls have one come on to you and actually say...

"well, I'm not emotionally invested yet for you to come home and sleep with me, so lets just call it night"

It's not going to happen. I've had a girl I just met ask me "when are you going to [censored] me?" and I don't care who you are, if you are drunk and have a bed accessible this girl is coming home with you.

[/ QUOTE ] They have a lack of moral that claims sleeping around is wrong. (Like I do for example. I see absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping around.) But I'm not one to tell anyone that my morals are better than theirs. At least as long as they're not hurting anybody.

Anyway, my point is that I don't think you can make a judgement about a person based on their sexual habits, unless they do something really screwed up such as purposely hurt people emotionally or go around infecting people with AIDS or something. There is nothing right/virtuous about not sleeping around, and visa-versa.

Edit: So I don't think they "lack a moral." But, um, we agree anyway, so maybe I have no point.

I want to have sex with you." blah blah blah, bit more talking about it, she gives me her number and says she is on her period tonight, but to call her tomorrow night (now) or the day after.
