I got the same thing about 20 min ago. I play from Europe.

I think this also ends the discussion if everyone will still get their share. It's impossible that there's any profit in a startup that pulls the plug within three months.

Wow what a mess created by very poor planning I'm sure.

Why? They are actually returning the money to the players it seems, aren't they?

Believe that after all the checks have cleared. I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of checks get 'lost in the mail' and you can't get any support.

My check cleared, but it was small.

I got this email today.

Dear XXXXXXXX XXXXXX,

I am sorry to have to inform you that as of 1st November 2005, Game Theory Limited, our licensor, has closed the accounts of all North American customers that play on PokerShare.com.

We are in dispute with Game Theory Limited and its parent company Excapsa. We do not accept that the license has been validly terminated and our lawyers are currently reviewing the position.

We would like to thank you for your support so far, we send our sincere apologies for any inconveniences you have suffered and we will keep you informed of all future developments.

Kind regards

And after getting kicked in the balls, UB spits in my face. My 7000 ultimate points acquired through pokershare have dissapeared

That was gonna take care of some Christmas shopping for me!!!!!

What other skins are there besides pokershare? I'd still like to play on the network, but don't want to directly make UB any money

Mine was 90 cents, it must have been the leftover change in my account when I cashed out.

According to the UB/Excapsa site, some of their licensees are Green Tie, Aviation Club, and DV8 Poker.

Now the bigger question is can you play there very long before UB decides to kick them out of the nest.

The network has lost me unless they grow up.
