ultimate bet v. pokerstars

I'm in college now and this 'donk' wants to play me in heads up to work on his game. He's an ubber 'donk' and wants to play me for rent money.

the real quesiton here is, Pokerstars requires 2000 FPP to create private tables. Does Ultimate Bet require the same?

who cares. if he's a donk that will play you for rent money then spend the 2000 points

I'm not sure if you can create private tables on UB but there is lots of HU tables kicking around that the two of you can go sit at.

Poker Stars has regular heads up tables?

I'm not talking about Sit and Gos and you make a private table to play heads up?

It's not really a matter of spending them - you don't have to spend FPP to get the ability to create private games, but you won't be allowed that ability until you've earnt 2k lifetime FPP. Unless things have changed recently, there's also no option to create private SNG with fewer than 3 entrants.

I'd have thought that the best option would be to play headsup SNG with the guy.

UB has normal HU tables at most limits.

How do you reserve the other seat at the HU table for your friend? On busy sites like PokerStars, the tables fill up almost instantly...

Private Heads-up matches can run with a minimum 2 players... although you have to pay full vig. (not a recent change either )

Pretty sure you can directly challenge another player on UB by name. Been a while since I played HU there, but I remember the option being in the list.

Since he is your roommate couldn't you just use real cards? It would save you the vig.

if you want to play a hu sng, then use UB to challenge.

if you want to just play a headsup cash game, use stars, and have a 2+2'r make you a table at the stakes you desire at the time you would like.

i am sure many people would take care of this for you. and it may provide entertainment to watch.

i wouldn't play either-- play on yahoo or something, where you're not going to pay out the nose in rake.

this kid isn't my room mate. I'm under the impressions he wants to play a series of matches.

the oppurtunity cost of dealing these games out would overcome the rake.
