ggban has had 37 drinks...now what?
 

He drank 37 drinks over a period of about 12 hours and he just stumbled back to our hotel room.

When I left himn at the cardroom at 29 3 and a half hours ago he actually appeared not drunk really like he could talk/stand up stragiht, but now he's actin totally f'd up and I dragged him into the bathroom to puke but he's been refusing to and says he feels great but v drunk. Now he just laid down for 15 minutes he claims...

37 is freakin ridiculous and I don't want him dieing or some [censored]. It's 1045 and his flight is at 1...there's no way they're going to allow him in this shape to fly..esp considering he's 18 or 19.

Not really sure what to do with the guy...?

this situation is going to get worse before it gets better. call the airline, and see if you can push back his flight. they should do this for a small fee. then draw all over his face with a permenant marker. he'll be able to mostly wash it off, but he'll have to get on a plane with the faint outline of a cockandballs on his face

Just tell them at the front desk what's up...add a day and pay for the room and tell them the situation or just let him be....

am I the only one who thinks gggban or whatever the hell his name is is a [censored] retard? FWIW, I have no idea what I'd do in your spot - it depends on how well you know the guy, the chances that you'd get money back from him, etc.

Postpone your flight too if possible.

When he sobers up, tell him how pissed off you are. He pays for both the flight delays, and room charge. And if he's a half-decent guy he will buy you a bottle of whiskey too as an apology.

2nd time I've met the guy. I'm not worried about money in this situation at all. He's a good guy and not gonna screw me on anything like that, and even if he did big woop...it's just that I don't know him at all so I know less what to do you know?

2 things I want:
-him not to die or some [censored]
-not miss/delay my flight

gabe's a good guy but not like a close friend of mine or something. I told him to quit drinkin a milion times earlier and he wouldn't listen so it's like meh what can I really do.

[/ QUOTE ]Flights at 1? When is your flight? At the very least, his irresponsible ass will have to go with you. Or you just pay for an extra night in the room and leave him there. You shouldn't miss your flight unles it's no big deal.

Physically, he'll be fine and if he is 19 he needs to learn to deal with this stuff himself.

This may sound evil but its worked when i've been in a situation like this. Find some crackers and force feed them to him, making sure he's at least coherent enough to eat them.(edit to note: by force feed, i mean literally use whatever reasonable force you have to make him eat them.) There's a pretty decent chance that this will shortly induce vomiting. At that point, lots of water.

Yeah, i feel ya. You have two options.

1) Stay
2) Go, but get the hotel for one more night. Write him a note explaining the sitch. Physically he'll be fine. I doubt he had "39" drinks. People like to exaggerate about that sort of thing.

This situation blows, I would call the airline and see if he can get into a later flight. Make sure he can stay in the room. Is there anyone else with you guys who can take care of him so you can catch your flight?

I think you should definitely make him some bread. If you're staying anywhere decent, the hotel should probably have a breadmaker. If not, I'm sure there's a Williams-Sonoma closeby.

i dont think hes gonna die...when ur drunk u lose count of ur drinks somewhere along the line...im not saying hes not drunk outta his mind...but i doubt hes in danger

try and get him up and going...if u cant fluff his pillow...leave him a note so hes not confused as hell when he wakes up....set a drink of water by him and catch ur flight

This is what I'd do. Make sure he's physically safe and then get going. He's the one that got himself into this. He can get out of it.

And stop with the bread suggestions. The alcohol is into the bloodstream by now and he can eat bread till he pukes it isn't going to help with the alcohol situation. It's gonna take 10+ hours for him to get it out of his system and no amount of bread will help that.

uve got to be kidding me! He got himself that drunk...hes gonna live...u dont have to stay there and babysit a sleeping guy and do NOTHING for another 24hrs but pick ur nose! Getting the room for another night and having Josh check in on him in 8 hrs is a perfectly fine route. Brian has a flight to catch...its not his responsibility to rebook his flight and stay when he has things he MUST be home for tonight....
