Ghostbusters III

so. BEN STILLER will star and this story now sucks!

still interested?

this was posted sunday...not sure i like the idea but a NY city in hell could be a good play. As a NY'er i always loved the franchise and thought it worked well, there is no need for them to go to a "5th dimension" and battle State Puff type monsters. Keep it all present day and it works so much better. IMO

Ackroyd needs to come up with a better script than he and Landis did for Blues Brothers 2000, because he isn't going to have Sam Moore and James Brown around to stop people from caring how bad the movie is.

Ugh, any Ghostbusters without Murray, Akroyd and Ramis (and Ernie Hudson) couldnt be the same. Ramis usually does good work though, so it might be decent, but I'm skeptical.

I liked this more than most (the original is my favorite movie of all time), but what saved it was Bill Murray. The franchise without Murray figures to be really, really bad.

It had some good moments. The courtroom scene was pretty funny.

The Bobby Brown song was a highlight.

how does ben stiller keep getting work? ugh

Re: Ghostbusters III

This report is not true. Aykroyd wrote a script for Ghostbusters III years ago, and it was going to star Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, Ben Stiller, and Chris Farley. Unfortunately, Murray wanted nothing to do with it (and he partially owns the rights, so everything has to be approved by him) and Farley died. This is not happening (thankfully).

He ees Vigo! You are like the buzzing of flies to him!

Terrible movie, but we got more mileage out of that line when I was younger...

I can't think of an actor who is less talented and less funny than Stiller.

The answer to your question is that he is in movies whose cast includes actors far more talented than he is and they carry the film; Guys like Vince Vaughn, The Wilson boys, Will Ferrell, Robert DeNiro...

It has gotten to the point where I won't see a movie if I know he is in it.

same. The only person who I think is less talented than stiller is Andy Dick. Thankfully tho that hack isnt in as much stuff.

i rented it recently and was sort of underwhelmed. hadn't seen it in a long time. "i've worked in the private sector. they expect results!" and other lines are better now as a result of watching it as an adult. to you is this a 'creeping comedy' like lebowski where it gets better with more watchings until it gets great?

in all aspects of comedy and quality acting, its very simple

Bill Murray > Ben Stiller

Hopefully, Bobby can put down the crackpipe because it is a MUST that he's on the soundtrack.
