Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
I won my first hand of the tournament. And nothing since. Best hand so far was TT...made it 200 to go after four limpers. Seven saw the flop. Great table, bad cards.

Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
Guys - In all seriousness, other than for reasons of practicing big stack tactics how can you justify this kind of a time committment to a $10 tournament? Saturday night's $109 took 10+ hours with 402 players ending at 5:30AM.

Hourly rate still isn't 'good' for the low buyins, but it's good experience, and profitable. And it's not like i'd be doing anytyhign else today, i'm just sitting watching football, and playing poker all day. |

Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
yeah, that's me. the fish. I hate those mid PP against a wild man like you but hoped you had AQ or AK.

Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
I'm still alive with 11,780 nearing third break. Table 9
|
Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
Going in the wrong direction with 7k at the break. There is a solid, tight player to my left who is agg with position, and a crazy loose all-in player w/29k to my right. Not a lot of blind stealing opps.
|
Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
26K at the break all thanks to a single donator. He liked check-raising the turn with second or third pair after calling a big flop bet. I didn't like it when I just had top pair, ten kicker, but I accepted it. I liked it better when I had trip Jacks, Queen kicker, and then again when I had trip sixes.

Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
6 hours and we just made the money. I have 30k, average stack = 53k. Anyone else still kicking?
|
Re: Anybody else in the Stars 10+1 deep stack?
Out in 85th. Went way too far w/KQs and was crippled, and couldn't win my 2nd short-stack all-in.
