Looks like you still have the best hand here, but you got yourself in some trouble tryin to build a pot OOP. In acuallity, Id be more worried about AAABLE. His smooth call is a little more confusing then Westy's raise which usually means 1010, JJ or A9.

One thing lacking here is reads tho, and this hands is all about reads and previous betting patterns. If I was in this spot I might call, fold or reraise, all based on previous actions from the players. Barring reads, some people would use this hand as their chance to double up or go home and I think I'm one of them.

I hate leading with bottom 2. I would much rather blow them out with a nice big check/raise. After the raise, I'd probably push, cuz I suck. There aren't a lot of hands he could have here. Obviously 99 is a possibility, and he could have 97s, but everything else you beat. I think the likelihood of a 9 or TT is too high for me not to push here.

there's nothing wrong w/ buiding a pot OOP if you think you have the best hand, especially if you think you have a shot at getting all-in on the flop

If you put him on a range of hands on the flop, 88, 99, 1010, JJ, 97 A9, K9, how many of those are going to push on the turn when an Ace comes? I would have to think I am beat now and give him credit for A9 99 or 97s

I would push this flop approximately 99% of the time.

Having seen the turn, I think I still call. It's probably the worst card (A7, A9 just came through), but there are plenty of aggressively played hands you are still beating here.

i wanted to see what the third guy was going to do. if he pushes, i think i can get away safely. if he calls, i'm probably going to lead the turn a-i on most cards. also, i don't want to let the raiser get away from a hand like J9, which he will usually do if i push the flop. he might be convinced to push it on the turn though.

I think pushing the flop is a must. Sure it screams big hand, but at the same time anybody bad enough to bust themselves later after you called the bet and raise cold here for 1/5 your stack is bad enough to put in lots of chips here without much of a hand.

As for the turn, I'm not folding. If he hit a 3 outer so be it, i think there's enough of a chance you're ahead here to gamble.
