On the commercials where there are a bunch of guys sitting at a poker table and then they ask whether the player should "Hold'em or Fold'em," why is Jesus the pro in this commercial when he openly admits he is terrible at reading people? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Because despite the fact that the full tilt commercial tells us "Poker is about everything else but the cards," sometimes it's about the cards.

also he would probably do it cheaper than some other pros. Like Doyal or Daniel would probably want more money.

Jesus meant he was bad at reading physical tells compared to lots of other pro's his status. That does not mean he can not take a betting pattern and break it apart analytically and come to a decision on whether to "HOLDEM OR FOLDEM".

These holdem/foldem questions would be hard for any pro to get most of them right.

I am sure Ferguson was picked for his appearance, personality, nickname, and card throwing abilities. It wouldn't be quite the same with Ted Forrest or Dan Harrington in the refrigerator.

Because he is the only one that they could get in the fridge. They first signed Doyle, but things didn't work out so well on set.

I may be alone on this, but I hate that commercial. It was funny at first, but now its the same joke over and over. I love the geniuses that feel good about getting the answer right, even though they don't show the way the hand played out from the start. You are not a poker expert if you get it right.

I agree. I may actually have a chance at getting it right if I know stack sizes, prior hands, bets on previous streets, etc., but without that it's basically a toss up. But these commercials are probably creating more "pros" that "know the game"

I've seen him miss two and both times he was talking on his cell phone.
