Weird quick question

This idiot at Full Tilt is sitting down at the 30-60 waiting for someone to sit down.

I sit, he plays one hand in which he raises and i call with suited trash. I miss, and he bets, wins, and leaves. 5 minutes later he's comes back with a starting stack and I sit down. We play a pot and he wins again, and leaves. He refuses to answer any chats.

Is there a way to take advantage of this?

I'm thinking just raise/cap anything cause he clearly wants to make a quick hit and get out.

Any ideas?

Yes, it's this guy. I'm clearly not here to play you shorthanded.

do you understand what i'm saying though? basically if he is there first, he can just play one hand (with him on the button) and then sit out and leave the table, only to return in a few minutes. by doing that, he is always the button, which is of course +EV.

of course i understand, im just wondering that if he's so interested in playing one hand I might have extra expectation in some other non-positional respect (i.e. folding equity) that would make up for the positional disadvantage.

i doubt it. he would probably just play the hand normally. he might even fold. the point is, button!

i used to play there a lot but it has been a while. how often does a 30/60 game run?

Re: Weird quick question

shorthanded games go sporadically all day.

it will run 3-4 handed for an hour or so then disappear for an hour. some very bad regulars. not as aggro as the stars/party 30 games. sometimes it gets tough so i get up and play other sites while i wait for the next game to start.

This is dumb. I play these people all the time, average enough of them and you get a decent session. Play them correctly and you absolutely rape them because they overplay their medium to weak hands. Its really simple... and keep it simple... you know the rest.

I dont play fulltilt but i do another site that experiences similar play. its not that these players are looking for the button, its usually that they are looking for a quick score. (maybe this guy is different) if it is more the former than the latter just play him (them) normally and you will come out WAY ahead.

yeah, i was specifically talking about the button trick. they just play one and only one hand regardless of outcome, then sit out.
