- None. Never invested a dime in online poker. Got my roll from 10$ I got free on pacificpoker.
- Cashed out once when Pacific froze my account due to blocking israeli players. Havn't cashed out since.
- No.
- More and more as time goes by.
- Playing freerolls in UB
- #20 on the TLB monthly ranking (and seriously, just establishing my poker persona. Getting better by the day. Still far from good, but i'm getting there, step by step)
- Living off MTT money and traveling a bit with the WPT.

That's about it.

1) My whole roll came from about $200 I deposited at UB about 18 mos ago.
2) Usually if I get over about 2k at a site I cash out
3) No. I work for a living.
4) Gamb00l? What's that?
5) Had never played one. I was a SNG guy.
6) Only been playing MTTs for about 3 mos. I've had a nice start, although I'm on a nasty downswing at the present. Thinking of changing my handle to "Bubblicious."
7) My first win would be nice. (I have several 2nds. And I won the KOTZ rebuy, but that doesn't really count.)

Re: MTT Forum Census

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?
Got my bankroll from instant bankroll (75$ on PP), built that up playing ring games, SnGs and MTTs.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?
Generally, whenever the bankroll hits 1500 I cash out 1000 (by check). Actually lost the 500 after a recent cash out (played beyond the roll b/c the BBJackpot on PP was so seductive) awhile back and had to make my first deposit (which only amounted to redepositing a fraction of what I had pulled out, but still hurt the ego quite a bit and made me consider hanging it up).

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?
No, I do however try to have a healthy ration of limit ring v MTT (I enjoy the latter more but make a more consistent profit on the former).

-How much gamb00l do you have?
Less than most brown trouts I think, but enough to get me in trouble on occassion.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?
Wasn't in the game.

-Where are you now?
Barely in the game.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?
In the game.

Re: MTT Forum Census

- My role came from $120 deposited into Pokerroom.com last December. I have what is probably too much of my total worth in poker sites now, but I blame this on being a poor college student.

- When I need (sometimes when I want) cash for something.

- No, I don't really set goals for poker.

- Not much.

- Not playing them.

- My biggest cash has been in an Empire 5k gaur. for $1350. This is also my only win. I have 2 second places, one in a Pokerroom $5.50 and one in a PP $5.50 Stud. I have a few other final tables. My improvement in the past few months has been drastic.

- I'd like to be playing bigger buy-ins more consistently. The biggest I play now with any regularity is $33s. I take shots at $55s on occasion and I've played one $162 on Stars with some T$ that I won. I finished just outside the money but felt like I can compete at that level. I'd like to start playing more satellites on Stars and try to accumulate some more T$ so that I can take shots at these more often.

This counts just as much as an MTT win. My first win was a $30 KOTZ against 50 brown trouts. I value that more than any big field win, setting $$$ aside.

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?

[/ QUOTE ]

Since I am a student, with no full time job, every dime I have made in my life is from poker winnings. I have a pretty comfortable cushion however, and I don't use a very large % of my bankroll when playing.

[ QUOTE ]
-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?

[/ QUOTE ]
Usually only when I have just won a lot in a tournament. I don't cash out very often.

[ QUOTE ]

No.

[ QUOTE ]
-How much gamb00l do you have?

Lots- when it comes to poker. I rarely play outside my bankroll, and never play other forms of gambling. As for my tournament poker gamb00l, I have been called a maniac many times.

[ QUOTE ]
-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?

[/ QUOTE ]
Being really bad at them, playing no higher than 50 bucks. Last summer I came 2nd in a party 20 dollar tournament for 3400, effectively creating my bankroll. I used it mostly for cash games, and not a lot of tournaments.

[ QUOTE ]

Hm, straight buying into 1000 dollar tournaments is fun. I consider tourney poker my strongest game, especially after my awesome summer run. Won 2 tournaments, and had some other really deep finishes in big buy ins.

[ QUOTE ]

Playing at least some major live tournaments, EPT or something, cause I'm still 18. I also want to have won a major sunday tournament, as I have been painfully close (6th and 10th in Party 500k).

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?The minimum I want to have on party is 500 BBs. When it gets to 700 BBs, I cash out back to 500
-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week? Not at all! MTTs are supposed to be fun. If I wanna play, I play, if not, I don't. Usually about 5-10 a week.
-How much gamb00l do you have?Very little, but I do enjoy donking the $2R or low limit tables with friends.
-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?Just made my 1st FT 6-way split in a live $50R for a cool $600

Don't get me wrong -- I value it greatly. It's easily my crowning achievement so far. But, it was only 40 entrants. It's just not the same game as a 1k entry MTT, even if the field was vastly more skilled.

Re: MTT Forum Census

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?
Not much. I deposited $100 into Pokerstars a month or 2 ago. I was playing microlimits profitably enough to fund my micro buy-in ($1-$3) mtts. I recently switched to turbo sngs and doubled my roll. I still play the micro-mtts though.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?
I just cashed out $100 back to my neteller account, and am now playing with profit. I am probably going to cash out in $100 blocks until Stars makes their next reload bonus availible.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?
nope

-How much gamb00l do you have?
I don't gamble. other than poker.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?
playing donk poker with friends, and the playmoney sng/mtts tables on Party. ie: i was nowhere with mtt's.

-Where are you now?
I started playing online poker for real money about a month ago on stars. I'm just building a BR first. Regardless, I am pretty bad at mtts.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?
Some significant cashes and a tourney win or two would be cool.

1) Not quite sure what you're asking. I keep about 100x my avg buy in around, but if I have to rebuy I will.

2) I cash out probably about once a month, or whenever I get significantly over my standard BR. I usually cash out through neteller to my bank acct.

3) Not really. I try and play the supers on Party most nights as well as the 45k on Stars and the 40k on Party. If I do well one night and end up until 2am or so though I'll often take the next night off to catch up on sleep (the burdens of a 'real job')

4) I have a fair amoutn of gamb00l, but at the end of the day I'm an engineer by trade, so I'm a big math guy.

5) I was playing the micros on stars up to about $30 buy ins, and occasionally I'd sat into one of the big weekend tournaments.

6) I regularly play in the larger weekend tournaments and the supers. I don't consider myself super successful, but I do well enough I can keep playing the nightly $150+ buy ins without going broke.

7) I'd like to have some live experience under my belt. I'm starting to take occasional stabs at some of the sats offered on different sites. I also hope that a year from now I don't find that the success I've had the last year or two turns out to just be a run of good luck

Re: MTT Forum Census

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?
$50. Worked it up to $280 playing .5/1 cash games, it went down to about $120 and then I entered a $20 MTT for fun and placed second for $3500.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?
Usually when I need money for something... I'm a college kid in a dorm so I usually don't need money.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?
I don't rely on the money, so no. But I do MTT's more than work at school.

-How much gamb00l do you have?
I'm lagtastic but I'm not reckless with money.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?
I probably thought it was an STD.

-Where are you now?
Running fairly hot and happy with my play. Still honing though.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?
Grinding the supers regularly.

Re: MTT Forum Census

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?

Not sure what this question means... I have a poker bankroll and I withdraw whenever I need cash to pay for bills or tuition.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?

Like I said above, whenever I need it. It goes from neteller to my bank account.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?

I used to, but with school lately I havn't had much time for online poker. I'm lucky to get 10 MTTs in a week, and that doesn't leave much room to let me make big wins.

-How much gamb00l do you have?

Probably too much. I sometimes play far above my bankroll and I get pretty wreckless with hundreds of dollars at a time (which I can afford to lose, but is just stupid to put at risk). That's probably my worst attribute, but thankfully I have a big enough roll (and not TOO much gamble) to still be alive in poker.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?

Absolutely nowhere.

-Where are you now?

I've won and final tabled the 45k rebuy on stars a few times. Won several other tourneys and usually go very deep whenever I cash in a tourney.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?

Have a few live events under my belt (the WSOP and a few other $1k-3k buyin events at the wsop, and if i endu p being good enough, some wpt evengts).

Some general questions, feel free to answer:

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?- I put $500 in initially to stars, haven't deposited besides that; also about $150 in poker literature
-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?- I haven't cashed out, its just money that's there. If I ever won like 10K or more, then I'd cash some of it out, but mostly my winnings are used for going up the buyins.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?- Unfortunately I work a job monday-friday from about 3-9am, so I catch tournaments on friday nite, saturday, and sunday early. The occasional other one, but not too often.
-How much gamb00l do you have?- I do go above my pokerroll occasionally, but have never been above the $50 tournament (highest MTT is 50, highest SNG is 30). Once I start making good money at work (30 an hour) I'll be playing only the 20-100 range buyin tourneys.
-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?- I wasn't online most of last year, but I'd play home games ranging from 20-50 bucks.
-Where are you now?- It ranges from 1-20, mostly 1-10, but I throw down 20 occasionally, and if I win a satellite to a $30 30K guaranteed, I'll play that also.
-Where do you want to be a year from now?- Getting FT's in the 30-50 range buyin

I don't know if i have any set money towards poker...just whatever i feel like playing

I cash out about once a week. My procedure is as follows. I decide what i want television, pool table etc. I play until i win it. Cash out, buy it. Curse myself out for the following 2 weeks when i go on a downswing and have no money to play for buying a toy.

A year ago in MTT went 2 ways. Broke or final table, i was more of a maniac and i either had a monster chip stack or i was watching everyone else finish

These days i find myself a lot tighter. I still average a win once a month or so, but i find myself making money more often.

I'd like to start making more money in higher level tournaments this year. I've won 7 this year so far. But only one really big one which was a super thursday. I'd like to win 10 next year of that caliber. That's my goal.

Some general questions, feel free to answer:

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?

Started with a $1k BR and 2+2 almost two years ago. Still playing on that.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?

My wife gets 50% of my winnings, so if I have a huge run in SnGs or a big MTT win, I give her some. Also after my first win, I cashed out a few thousand which went towards an I-Pod and anniversary dinner. The rest is in Netteller so I can whore bonuses.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?

Nope. Depends on tournament schedules, when my son goes to bed, etc.

-How much gamb00l do you have?

Not as much as I should. I gotta start shoving over LP raisers more, and raising with garbage less.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?

Just trying to figure them out.

-Where are you now?

Just beginning to figure out the very basics. Learning when to be patient and when to be aggressive.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?

Good question. Second ankle-biter due in the spring which will slow things down more than a little, so I may be coming back from a six month poker sabbatical.

Re: MTT Forum Census

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?

Started my bankroll with a $50 deposit into Party in May 04. Played 5+1, 10+1 SNG, and .5/1 for awhile. Grew bankroll -> moved up -> grew -> moved. Moved up the limit game from .5/1 to 5/10 and 10/20.

Played in MTT's along the way - won a $5+1 (2000 entrant) for 2K, Finished second in a $20 with 2200 people for 4.5K, picked up first in the 11k guaranteed ($30, 400 people) for 3k. Lately I have been playing big buyin MTT's and gone deep in the 500k guaranteed and the 200K Saturday.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?

I try to cash out 1K each week from Netteller to my account. I keep a several week buffer in the Nettler account and a decent amount on several websites.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?

I have been playing alot more satelites into the bigger entry fee MTT's. I stopped playing cash games and the MTT's can dent your bankroll pretty seriously.

-How much gamb00l do you have?

From none to alot.......how big are the blinds?

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?

$300 bankroll playing $10 SNG's and $5 MTT's.

-Where are you now?

Now I am a high limit fish.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?

Playing higher buyin in online MTT's regularly and playing some larger buy-in live tournaments.

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hard to say for me as I like to keep very little money on poker web sites. I've got a NW of about 20k, and I play no higher than $15 MTTs, although I do play $100NL live, and occasionally $200NL.

[ QUOTE ]

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?

[/ QUOTE ]

I keep very little money directly in poker web sites because I play such low stakes that if I have too much in my BR, I'll stop caring about success. I frequently cash out to just $50. This is dumb, but purely psychological. I'm slightly worried that I'll be accused of bonus whoring bodog, when in fact I'm doing a horrible job of that.

1) 40% of my net worth is online, but that's mainly because I'm lazy and don't cash out, like, ever.
2) The last time I cashed out was when I made a big score in January.
3) I should, but I don't. One of my goals next month is to actually hit my play target. This month I took a week off on vacation, but even with that, I didn't get halfway to my play target.
4) With my bankroll, I am TOO conservative. I should be playing much higher stakes than I currently do.
5) Not really playing MTTs, except for the occasional supersatellite to a 215 on Party and some UB 5.50's. Was about to transition from 1/2 6-max to 5/10 6-max.
6) Playing $22 and $33 tourneys, and rebuys on Party and Stars.
7) Buying straight in to $109's, $162's, and the big Sunday tourneys.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?
Whenever I need it for food or bills and neteller to neteller debit card.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?
Play all the $3, $5 rebuys I can as well as deep stack tournies

-How much gamb00l do you have?
None at all...must have odds.

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?
Didn't really play them but did have a 1st place in a $100+9 tourney at Pacific for $4200+

-Where are you now?
Just won $9700 in 3 different Stars tournies this week and still playing low limit tournies but deciding if I want to move up from the NL$100 since I have 100+ buyins now.

-Where do you want to be a year from now?
Would like to win the TLB weekly at least 3 times next year and 10PTbb/100 at the NL$200.

I started my BR with $300 and have never redeposited, I do buy books once in a while though, figure around $30/mo.

-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it?
After a great run this summer bringing my BR to about $30K I finally cashed out $10K (I use Neteller) and paid off some bills.

-Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week?
No goals, but according to my records I play about 80/month

-How much gamb00l do you have?
Sometimes too much, sometimes not enough

-Where were you a year ago with MTT's?
Barely a winning player at the $5.50 - $22 level

-Where are you now?
A substantial winner at the $22-$44 level (although I play higher and lower sometimes)

-Where do you want to be a year from now?
A winner at the $150-$200 level (Supers and big weekly events)
