\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (10/28) (Bluff Night 10/20 NL)

Tonight's show (as shown above) is the return of Bluff Night where the viewer helps determine who had the best bluff of the broadcast. This week's prize is an engraved ipod Nano. Tonight's game starts as a 500 min no max 5/10 NL game, as there seems to be quite a lot of traffic in the area and the usuals haven't arrived yet. Last night's 5/10 NL game had a bracelet winner, its share of tight players, and an annoying, too chatty female player. Good times were had by most.

Finally, since Jesus is expected to be in tonight's game, I figured I'd throw this out to him.

Hi Kev,

Do you know if its possible to locate entire LATB thread from a particular date, say 5-21-2005?

That show's thread would be in the archives. I'm sure if you used the regular key words you'd be able to find it.

Are the Announcers out shopping for the muppet Masks?

Has the stream started yet? I do not get a thing. Perhaps the final touches on the Halloween show are in the works?

Re: Are the Announcers out shopping for the muppet Masks?

It doesn't look like it, all I get are the previews. As mentioned in the OP, Bart told me there was a lot of traffic in the area, causing some of the regulars to not be there yet.

And there's goes the stream.

dabigbadrook 10-28-2005 09:09 PM

Shouldnt the number 5 seat have a big reserve sign on it for Jesus?

Certain people just make good television or webcasts....

YAY! It begins! Whooo!

Damn, wish I was there... I want that iPod nano with the nifty engraving.

Driving from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada is quite along way tho, I dont think I would make it in time. LOL!

The psychology of wearing the BRACELET

I wonder how much wearing the BRACELET translates into additioanl winnings? Some people might shy away while others might not make the correct decisions trying to take down a WSOP winner. Thoughts people?

10-28-2005 09:15 PM

Re: The psychology of wearing the BRACELET

I really dont think that the bracelet makes that much of a difference.

But on another thought, Bart and Tuch are running away with the iPOD nano! Get em!

LOL, see ya in five.

Does the Nano come with admission to the class action suit against Apple?

Did everybody lose their feed?

Nagoo81 10-28-2005 09:18 PM

Re: The psychology of wearing the BRACELET

They had some problems with the feed and are rebooting their system

1) How does this iPod nano bluff contest work exactly? nm I thought one of US were going to get the nano for watching.

2) What the heck happened in that big first pot? I JUST tuned in just as the chips were being raked in.

I don't have the feed ... are others having trouble?

10-28-2005 09:19 PM

Re: The psychology of wearing the BRACELET

Yeah, I see it in a similar way.
Some might think, "oh, this guy's won a bracelet, I cannot blufff him, he'll read it and then I'm busted".
While others will become too aggressive, just to bluff a bracelet winner once. "Man, I'm good, Ican beat that guy, I've seen him playing on TV, I know his style, I'll bluff him out with nothing."

They had to reboot, having trouble with their graphics. It should be back in a minute or two.

Kevmath 10-28-2005 09:22 PM

Re: The psychology of wearing the BRACELET

Basically the viewers post to the thread or to Live@thebike.com with what they consider the best bluff of the night. Whatever bluff gets the most votes wins.

To break it down simply, 9-7 tried to bluff 10-9 off a hand, and didn't work.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (10/28) (Bluff Night 10/20 NL)

Wow!

Seat four and five are trying to decimate each other! LOL! This is great. What a luckbox catching that Q-Q-x flop tho. Sheesh.

10-28-2005 09:26 PM

Diablo!

Diablo + $5000 buyin, that sounds promising.

dabigbadrook 10-28-2005 09:26 PM

The Power of Crap

Seat 4 gets the whammy off of the flop. How high do you have to crank it to get hands like that out? Looks like the AA prophecy is in effect, you win a lot of little pots, and lose a few huge ones.

Is Kevin on tilt?

10-28-2005 09:31 PM

Re: Diablo!

Hopefully, he loosens up a bit, after playing so tight in the last time.

dabigbadrook 10-28-2005 09:33 PM

Shifting gears for Diablo

Is diablo trying to become a better player? Letting people see he can play tight so that his bluffs get more pots?

10-28-2005 09:34 PM

Re: Tommy

Tommy will clearly walk away with the Ipod Nano tonight.

NO consideratin for that bluff by seat 9

For a bluff to be a bluff the other person must fold. Otherwise you can call it charity.

10-28-2005 09:46 PM

Re: NO consideratin for that bluff by seat 9

right on

10-28-2005 09:47 PM

Re: Shifting gears for Diablo

Russ,

I was watching your LATB show today. Sorry for the bad beats. Was the guy sitting in seat 7, then moved into your seat 3, is he "Bicycles Biatch"?

dabigbadrook 10-28-2005 09:49 PM

Seat 8 table image is priming for the big bluff, but can he?

With that 10 9 raise on top pair, everyone folded... Sign of the image he has on the table. He can get away with a HUGE bluff with this image, but is it in his grain?

10-28-2005 09:49 PM

Seat Nine

Someone should tell Seat Nine to go to his nearest electronics store. They are selling the iPod Nano for like $300 instead of him bluffing off like $3000 for it. Hah!

HEY, MO had a great finish in the Big October tournament won about $9,000.00 in the final. (Am i last to comment on this?)

Re: Shifting gears for Diablo

Tommy was clearly going to bluff there but changed his mind at the last second.

I think the biggest bluff of the night is Diablo's TAG image.
