Travel Channel Special 5/10

Villian plays a cash game like it's the final table at a wpt event, putting too much value into Ax small pp's raising about 5xbb in all spots with these holdings. Sb is a solid thinking player able to make tough laydowns, tricky moves ect.

Hero image is been pretty tight with no known moves in last 3 hours and is in cutoff with 1.6k villian is utg with 1k sb last hand open pushed jj (??) got called by villian a10s. has us covered

vilian open limps 2 callers rest fold to hero raises to 50 with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sb calls bb folds villian calls. rest fold.

flop (170)
8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villian bets 50, hero calls, sb minraises, villian calls,
Hero ??? plan for rest of hand

Oddly I put sb and villian on same range of hands here a draw and a pair. two pair or a stright.

Call to keep villain in and hope the fog clears up on the turn.

If flush comes it should be obvious from villain if you have to muck your Qhigh.

SB has 2 pair, st8, set

call and see what happens on the turn. if you miss on the turn and he still gives you the right price to call, call otherwise fold, because it's going to be obvious what you have when a heart or a 9 comes (and you may be just chopping if a 9 comes anyways).

I think pushing all in is a big mistake after SB check raises the minimum in a raised pot. You have about 1% folding equity.

You really want to a higher flush or a straight draw sitting in there?

But that should probably also make your decision change a bit if you think someone else is on a draw. Your outs are now less.

The people I play with dont make a minimum check raise out of position in a raised pot with a draw.

or maybe you just never show down your winners and you always think they have a monster - just as you post this crap which you ALWAYS say, gomberg writes a post where villain did just that. you always say this we also point out many examples to the contrary and you still go on believing it... fine scared money is better for me anyway, but you might want to read this forum once in a while.

Is there enough $ in the pot to make this worth it?

You have a solid draw here. You're being offered like 8 to 1, why reraise all in? i take the cheap draw to my likely 13 outs. I'm not sure about the raise preflop however with so many limpers and i never like to pass the action back to a utg limper

This dude just raised $50 more into a pot of $320 out of position against two opponents on a two-tone 876 flop. We know he can't have Th9h and wtf else would make such a stupid raise like that? Something smells extremely fishy.

This, cannot both be true. With the stacks i like to raise to ~400. Just calling is also ok. Pushing not too bad. Imo raising (400) > calling > pushing. All are close.

no, she is more likely to be as smart as she thinks she is than you are to be correct here.

the SB's minraise is the reason for this post. If his play was cut and dry and easy to read, it wouldn't need discussion would it? It sure confuses the hell out of me...it doesn't make any sense...could be a monster, could be a fishy play, could be freaking anything honestly. His min raise gets more money in the pot while offering irresistable odds(8-1). This could mean a flush draw, a pat straight, an information raise, seeing if you really have it? I like this play, and although it doesn't protect it sure does confuse the hell outta me(and you, yes even you fslesscdick), why he'd check overraise........you don't know what he ended up having do you? I'd like to know.
