College Football - Oct 22nd

Big games of the day

#10 Texas Tech @ #2 Texas
#17 Tennessee @ #5 Alabama
#16 Auburn @ #7 LSU

On another note, is anyone watching the OSU/IU game on ESPN? This has to be the worst officiating I have ever seen in a game.

Watching Michigan vs. Iowa. Michigan St. is getting beat up by Northwestern which is pretty funny.

I'm not surprised by the outcome of either of these games. Michigan State has had the wind knocked out of them the past 2 weeks, and you never know which Michigan team (or Iowa team for that matter) is going to show up on any given week.

The Big Ten is just so good top to bottom this year, with teams like Northwestern and Minnesota having great years.

This has been a tough season to be a MN fan, not showing up for the Penn St. game was tough... and last weeks loss was just plain heartbreaking.

MI just took the lead.

Few turnovers caused by tech. Texas had 4 straight offensive TD drives.

Great ending, Tennessee fumbles in the endzone and Alabama makes a field goal with 15 seconds left to win it 6-3.

Great ending to the game. First the hit to cause the fumble and the touchback, then alabama driving for twice as many yards as they had in the rest of the second half for the win.

Penn State is winning by a lot of points.

Those SEC teams sure do like playing defense. After Alabama's 6-3 win, I'm now watching LSU-Auburn. That's 7-3 at the half, with the only touchdown coming on a punt return.

no mention of Brady Quinn's big game?

bernie 10-23-2005 10:49 PM

Correction:

Baylor almost beat Oklahoma for the first time ever. My has Oklahoma fallen pretty damn far this season.

Meanwhile, Nebraska showed off their on going inteptitude losing to Missouri.

Wazzu & Cal...Whatta game.

Sorry, I watched the UCLA game where all the announcers did was talk and kiss and wrap legs with UCLA so there was some residual crap left over. That game made me hate UCLA even more.
