At the Taj- an announcement was made, there are seats open at Men the Master's 1-3 no limit game, anyone who wants to play no limit with Men the Master report to table x. It was funny because everyone playing 1-3 thought they could request a table change. It was actually 100-300 no limit.

TJ Cloutier was there the same day. They were in town for a tourney at another house.

I was at Bellagio for the WPT Championships this year. It was when the room was being remodled so there was no high limit area. Johnny Chan and Chau Gang were playing 2000-4000 with a full table of Asian players who I did not recognize.

On other occassions I saw Scotty Nguyen, David Skalansky, and Ted Forrest at Bellagio.

See a ton of them at Bellagio everytime I'm there. Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey, Jennifer Harmon, David Williams, Jang(sp), Chip Reese, Doyle and Todd, Sklansky, Scott Fischman. They all seem very nice when they pass you on their way to Bobby's room.

At WSOP $3k event I was at same table as Huck Seed and Tom McEvoy (as well as Eric Brenes).
At WSOP main-event I was at same as Johnny chan (who busted 10 minutes after I did fairly late on day 1).
On PPM cruise I was on same table as Chip Jett who was accumulating chips like a freaking mad-man.

In cash-games at Bellagio you can just look into the room and see the famous players there for yourself.

ive played in the same NL game for about 1 hour at the wynn with the estenfari and his actor buddy - some dude from out there & used to be on er

obviously the only reason he was playing 2-5 NL at the wynn was to f**k around with his friend. He bought in for about $15,000 because of course it's uncapped at the wynn. He had two hot chicks behind him at pretty much all times.

Overall nice guy - let's just say if i didn't have a high pocket pair i was out of any hand with him, cuz he was just throwing the money in the pot with reckless abandon - or so it seemed. There was one old guy at the table - a grinder - that always got into heads up situations with him - i'll let you guys guess who came out ahead.

It was hella fun just to sit and watch - in this game - the 2/5 blinds became somewhere around 50/100 because of all the b***S***t raising by estenfari. My BR obviously wasn't supporting that - so all in all folding was hella fun.

I've watched hellmuth play in AC, and what a surprise, he's a jerkoff in real life too, not just on TV.

I've met Lederer, Negreanu, Jesus, Violette and Vahedi. Sweated Raymer for a while. Haven't actually played with any of them.

Negreanu is hysterical. I think it'd be fun to go out drinking with him. Vahedi too for that matter. And Layne Flack aparently is fun to drink with.

I've had the pleasure to play a couple of times with Oklahoma Johnny Hale. Not real high on the list of current tv "greats" but he was a real gentleman and boy was he lucky. In a single table qualifier for the Friday Bellagio tourney he got AA twice, a straight, a flush, and two sets in about an hour. He went on to money in the Friday tourney.

He sat down at our little 3/6 game at the Mirage (mostly selling his book at a $5 discount to the cover price) and in an hour sold 3 books and took about $200 off the table with some strong hands and lucky draws.

I played in a single table satellite with a Barbara Enright once and Hassim Habib once many moons ago. I knocked Enright out in a limit hold'em satellite with 10,8o when she was short stacked. She was rude to me upon leaving but with the trash she was playing I don't think she had anything to talk about [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. Also the late Jack Keller showed up in the local card room years ago apparently on a trip of some sort. He was playing $4-8 Omaha/8 with a 1/2 kill for fun. What a truly class act and nice guy he was. Slim has shown up in the local cardroom many times and was a regular in the pot limit hold'em game for quite awhile. He seems ok and was a good sport when playing the low limit tournaments. I've seen many more play in Vegas although I haven't played poker in Vegas for awhile (passed through Vegas in December of last year on my way to northern Nevada on a non gambling mission).

At FW I have met Greg R., Paul Darden and Barry Greenstein.

(Greg Raymer is the nicest gentleman you could ever meet - before
or after his big win...and Barry G took time to stop and talk even after
a looong death session with Chip and Doyle earlier that day)

I have sightings of Phil Hellmuth, Doyle, Jen Harman, Scotty Nguyen,
Howard Lederer, Chip and Chau Giang.
