What does it mean when someone "(erroneously) has the button"??

Minh Ly is really showing that if he decides to play a lot of tourneys he could be a powerhouse.

Go Action Dan!!

Yup.
Mike put him on tilt and pretty much led to him busting out of the ME on the second to last day.
The story goes that Mike was making fun of Minh saying he can't speak English, and then when Minh was involved in a hand with another player and about to bust him Mike, who had already folded, basically told the player he was a Donkey is he paid off Minh this hand. Which cost Minh chips obviously and was a pretty dick move IMO.
Minh described the whole thing on Cardplayer's final table real audio broadcast, you can check it out, but it's not always easy to understand what he's saying.

Huge hand , Harrington goes from being almost eliminated to chip leader:

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 00:31:00
Title: Dan Harrington Doubles Through Minh Ly
Log: Hand 122 - Minh Ly has the button in seat 2, he raises to $600,000, Harrington reraises all in for $1,620,000, and Ly calls with pocket nines (9d-9s). Harrington shows Kh-Jc, and it's a race situation.

The flop comes 7h-5s-3h, and Ly is still in the lead with his pocket pair. The turn card is the Ks, and Harrington takes the lead with a pair of kings. Now Ly needs to catch a nine to eliminate Harrington. The river card is the As, and Dan Harrington doubles up to about $3.5 million in chips.

Do these folks have a redeye to catch? The very next hand...

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 00:36:00
Title: Minh Ly Doubles Through Dan Harrington
Log: Hand 123 - Dan Harrington has the button in seat 3, Ly raises to $650,000, Harrington reraises to $1.3 million, and Ly reraises all in for nearly $500,000 more. Harrington calls, showing pocket eights (8h-8s), but Ly dominates him with pocket jacks (Jd-Jh).

The flop comes Qc-Qd-Qs, and both players flop a full house. Of course, Ly's lead is even more dominating, as Harrington will need to catch running eights to win this hand. The turn card is the 3c, and Harrington is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the Ks.) Minh Ly doubles up to about $3.7 million in chips.

Down to 3...

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 00:48:00
Title: Updated Chip Counts
Log: The following approximate chip counts are announced to the crowd:

1. Dan Harrington - $3,000,000 (seat 3)
2. Gavin Smith - $2,700,000 (seat 5)
3. Minh Ly - $2,400,000 (seat 2)

Edit: Make that 2...

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 00:57:00
Title: Gavin Smith Eliminated in 3rd Place ($327,610)
Log: Hand 130 - Minh Ly has the button in seat 2, Harrington raises, and Smith calls all in for $245,000. Harrington has 8s-4s, and Smith actually has the lead with -- 10h-2h! The "Doyle Brunson!" Perhaps luck is on his side right now.

The flop comes Ah-Kd-8c, and Harrington takes the lead with a pair of eights. Now Smith needs a ten, running deuces, running hearts, or a runner-runner straight. The turn card is the 4c, and Harrington makes two pair to clinch the hand. (The meaningless river card is the 5d.) Gavin Smith is eliminated in third place, earning $327,610.

The next player eliminated will receive $620,730 for second place, while the winner will walk away with $1,060,000, a gold bracelet, and a $25,000 seat in the WPT World Championship.

There will be a short break for the money presentation.

Wow, these guys are in a hurry...

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 01:13:00
Title: Dan Harrington Doubles Through Minh Ly
Log: Hand 131 - Dan Harrington has the button, he raises to $600,000, and Ly moves all in. Harrington quickly calls, showing As-Jh, which dominates Ly's Kc-Js.

The flop comes 6s-5c-2h, and Harrington is still in the lead with ace high. Ly needs a king to win, or a running straight on the board to chop. The turn card is the 6h, and Ly needs a king to win the tournament right here. The river card is the 4s, and Dan Harrington doubles into the chip lead on the first hand of heads-up play.

Date / Time: 2005-10-22 01:15:00
Title: Updated Chip Counts
Log: The lead has changed rather quickly. Here are the new chip counts:

Dan Harrington - $6,750,000
Minh Ly - $1,645,000
